The circuit is this:From your fuse box runs a Light Blue wire to your left handlebar switch. That wire is "live" and transfers power to the turning signal switch. That switch depends on what direction you push it, transfers the power to:1) Light Green wire that powers the right hand turning signal bulbs (front and back)2) Black wire that powers the left hand turning signal bulbs (front and back)Each bulb uses a Black/White wire to ground and close the circuit.

I am glad you posted on FixYa. I can help on the manuals. Everything you asked for AND a parts fitch with part numbers are on the free PDF download site shown below. The 1st screen sometimes takes up to 5 seconds to build but from there the download is extremely easy.
Ya owe me a top rating on this one! Thanks Kylie!

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the engine from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what problem has been detected. There is also a chance a sensor has gone bad and is giving a false signal. Keep that in mind. Now determine if you want to do the fix or have the dealer do it. Please rate my answer.
