This shows that a variable current is being given to the rev counter as it should beCheck all connections for dirt , corrosion & fastness especially the rev counter earthIf all the above are good then the rev counter itself has blown

1990 fzr 600 G plate. rev counter not working. Live and earth all ok. Grey wire goes back to ignition box at rear of bike. When bike is running its giving out 14.5 volts from ignition box to coils but only giving 6.6 to 6.7 volts from grey wire to tacho. Is this normal ! Could it be the ignition box or the rev counter itself....
