Hi. To fit a new wire harnes is a fairly straight forward job if you still have the old one fitted, the main difficulty is getting the route correct so if you place the new one alongside the old harness, disconnect te battery, do not rush the job work in one area at a time reconecting all the disconnected wires from the old harness with the new, this will ensure you have not left any wires disconnected, and when finnished reconnect the battery live first followed by the earth wire.

Directions from start to finish the complete wiring of a 1999 Harley Davidson FXSTC Softail Custom Motorcycle

Jp has the harness and easy to follow instructions, if you already have
the harness, and the old one is still on the bike. you could strip down
and tag each wire before pulling harness . use old harness to apply
new harness , everything will be the same. some connections may
need to be added, but this is minor .

1982 GS550L TURN BARS AND IT TURNS OFF

sounds like a broken wire in harness around head stock .first check for any dodgy connections failing this turn h/bars left to right note position of wiring harness bend when turning remove insulation tape about10cm before bend to 10cm after bend test each wire individually by holding firm one end(in removed tape area) and pulling on other end ,pull fairly hard and hold pressure if wire is broken the wires insulating cover (colour) will become thinner at broken point find broken wire cut at break add a plus minus 2cm piece of wire (same diameter) solder insulate and tape up wiring harness

CANT FIND WIRING HARNESS TO ADD EXTEA WIRE FOR MY NEW HANDLEBARS

Usually you have to purchase new switches or do the wiring yourself. Not a lot of fun but just the way it is. Sorry.

My schwinn scooter wont charge, ive just put a new rear wheel on it and now it wont charge, ive tested the charger and its fine???

Probably a wire disconnected. Check the wiring harness for loose connections, disconnected wires, dirty connections pinched wires, broken wires. Also check and add water to the battery if needed. Check the battery connections and fuses.
