Compression, fuel, timing and spark and a sufficient cranking speed are all required for an engine to start. Each should be checked through systematically but check the immobiliser first.
I'd use a gage and check correct fuel pressure? 2.9L engine, my info says 35--45 psi. If fuel pump has a problem, make sure gas tank is clean?
The engine cranks ok, but, won't start? Did you check spark at the plugs engine cranking? I'm just trying to decide if you have more than one issue?
replace fuse and relay.also check oil pressure switch.it controls fuel pump also. check fuel pump wires and fuel injector fuse .if all is good pcm could be faulty it controls fuel pump on .command circuit
not a lot of help in what you have put was their any noise of it loss of power or anything if it turns over and dosent fire up could possibly be a fuel problem or its not getting a spark to start it
