The oil light will come on until the bike starts. Remove the air filter and spray a short shot of starter fluid into the intake. Replace the filter and see if the bike will start.
The bike must be level and not on the side stand. If you look closely, you should see the oil level index marks to the side of the sight glass. Just like the marks on an oil dipstick, as long as the oil level is between the marks, you're OK.
While Suzuki does not expressly recommend a filter change with every oil change, I change the filter anyway. I don't like the idea of leaving nearly a half quart of old, dirty oil in my machine.
make sure all fuses are good, in neutral ,pull clutch etc. after cleaning fuel system,filter ,lines and air filter.fresh gas, and oil within level. Battery full charge.Make sure kill switch is ok by working it a few times maybe spray electrical contact cleaner in it.
you will find there may have been water in tank which will only go through system when tank is empty 250ml of metholated spirits in to fuel tank WITH petrol should solve problem as metho evaporates water
