May 15, 2021 - 2007 gsxr 600. I changed clutch cover due to being broken. Put new oil in. Won't start. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your bike yourself ...
Most of the time this will be the battery, the battery is very weak, will need to be recharged using a trickle charger, if the battery won't hold charge, you need to replace the battery.
It might also be a faulty starter motor and or solenoid.
You will most likely have some sort of electrical problem, a drain problem, parasitic draw.
I would check the starter relay, and any fuses associated with it, also does this model have to have the clutch in or brake on to start? If so check the switches there as well because you may have one switch that is stuck
does your bike have a kickstand switch...maybe hitting the speed bump caused the stand to move and killed the engine...also i think your bike has a tilt switch under the seat near the gas tank not real sure on the location but it just sounds to me like what would happen if you hit the kill switch...just throwing out some ideas let me know it it helped.
i had this prob a nightmare my su 1000 done this then. after a few weeks,i would park up go for a cuppa , try to start it and nothing just clicking from the switch. i disconnected the immobiliser
do the lights come on in the front if its just a little red light its possible you tripped the security on the van . or is it the batery light flashing and the battery is dead
Try draining all the old fuel out and running fresh fuel through it.Dont try to dilute it as stale fuel turns acidic and corrodes everything it is in contact with.Fuel system may require complete clean out
