There is more to properly setting the cams than just the clearances. Cam position, rotor position relative to sprocket position, and valve "2 cylinder sets" in a given rotor position. GSXR 750 wp 1994 Judders at pulling off
There could be several reasons for this, firstly try changing you oil and filter and see if it improves. If it does then it is possible a problem with the friction plates being glazed or bent slightly. Check to see if the clutch slips. Also check other things like chain tension and sprocket wear. Whilst your there check the cussion drive rubbers for wear and loosness.
