Please help my 1999 jeep grand cherokee has been dying out. As soon as I start to slow down or I'm at a red light it wants to die out. When I give it gas its fine but once again when I begin to slow down or stop it begins to sputter out and die.

The circuit load is much higher with the HID lights, you need to rewire the headlights to a large gauge wire.

Have you scanned the system for fualt codes? An O2 sensor will never cause the engine to stall out like this, NEVER.

have you tried to replace your fuel injectors or your spark plugsif not try checking your fuel injectors electric socketit couid be loose

With a code reader connected to the DTC connection, are there any trouble codes stored? Is there an engine light lit? You will need a code reader to at least start a diagnosis and also a fuel pressure gauge.

check the vacume pipe from the brake servo to the inlet manifold [petrol] model.

hello. each power window has it's own little motor and your motor is dying a slow death. It will stop all together soon, most likely in a downpour. To prevent that you will have to replace the motor. I recommend that you purchase the motor and track assembly as one unit. This will make the entire operation like new and you will be very happy.

What you are looking for is something that is turning off power. check ignition switch and connections at the computer (have you done any testing before changing parts?)

check the fuel pump fuse/relay, could be just bad enough to cause an intermittent start/no start. and check fuel pressure,spark and the crank position sensor.

My 2000 Grand Cherokee had the same problem, without all the sputtering, it would just die approaching a stop. We could only keep it running by slightly pushing down on the gas petal when coming to a stop. I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor, but that didn't change anything. A new mechanic I found replaced the Idle Air Control Valve, and we've had no problems in a week.
