Was the battery inside connected the right polarity? The light and compressor would work either way, the jump leads would be polarity protected. Or, is there a main fuse somewhere that has blown.

Vibration in normal use as well as any mishandling causes the powdered lead to fall from the plates, this settles in sediment chambers at the bottom of each cell. When a battery is past the flush of youth the amount of sediment can be considerable and should the battery be tipped too far the sediment can completely short out the cell - resulting in a failed battery that is also fairly warm...

May need new batt..charge it then in morning see if its still holdn 12.6v..no less for a coil ignition

If your model is the 90 then it should be a 4 stroke engine you put 10w30 or 10w40 oil in the engine and gas in the tank. Do not mix oil into the gas tank on a 4 stroker you will knacker the engine big time. If however you have a definite 2 stroke model, you have 2 oil tanks one for the gearbox, and the plastic one under the seat for the engine. Gearbox tank fill with 10w30 oil the plastic tank under the seat with 2 stroke oil. The 2 stroker mixes the oil and gas so you don't need to.

What type of spark plugs did you install (NGK or DENSO)? Did you check the gap and/or gap them to 0.036? There are other possibilities. Do you own a multimeter? You may want to pull them and check the resistance. Maybe a coil wire is not seated or the coil and/or coil wire needs service or repair from being handled. Maybe it is a coincidence and there is another problem. If the ignition system checks out then move to fuel and air. Any questions please let me know. Good luck.

If the radio problem showed up, at the same time the loss of power did...I would check the charging circuit, to see if something is loading it down heavily. This is only an educated guess, since I don't even know what brand of bike you have, or have the wiring diagram for it. An alternator with a bad diode in it, or a nearly dead short on its output, can act as a brake. If your bike uses other electrical accessories, or electric start...and the battery is being charged properly, and the other accessories work ok...then I would start looking for something binding or dragging, in the drive belt system. Especially, if the last belt wore out quickly. Good luck.

The switch needs some rubbing alcohol poured in to rid corrosion. But it cud also be worn..take it out n inspect. Buy a bike shopbook

Battery backwards. Or normal indicating you're connecting power? It's so7nds like it's running to ground

Just a guess. The door latch is known to go bad on the DW's. Easy enough to test and change. (If the latch malfunctions, the machine thinks the door is open and all power is killed).

You need to check if the main fuse isn't blown and also try to source a motorcycle battery, then check if there is spark to the plugs. Sometimes electrical components on bikes that were stored for long periods of time work only for a few minutes and then they give up the ghost, same as old tv's etc. But yeah check all fuses because at least the ignition light or oil light, neutral etc needs to turn on. It shouldn't if the battery holds a charge and is fully charged. You can pull headlight fuse to test during the day, but this may be ******* in your state and can get you a ticket. It is most likely a fuel or valve leakage, adjustment problem.

Check your throttle cable. It may have become dislodged or broke.
