Have you checked the carb boots for cracks? the fuel screw under the block off plug? Remove the plug and set the fuel screw to 2 to 2.5 turns and hopefully you'll see a difference on starting, warming up and idling in the cold.

Yamaha banshee will not start

Did you accidentally cross the spark plug wires? Other wise its going to be hard to diagnose, Do you have plenty of compression, Are you getting gas to the spark plugs? Is the air filter clean/new? You will need a factory service manual to diagnose further if all the above is ok

Hi mt pit bike is spluttering under acceleration i

Your bike may be jetted too lean. A common problem in these days of overzealous EPA regulations. You can tell if when you've cranked your throttle wide open and it splutters, if you back off on the throttle about 1/8 to 1/4 turn, it clears up. This is indicating that it is jetted too lean. When you close the throttle slightly, the fuel is being metered by the main jet and by backing off on the throttle a bit, you're cutting back on the air, thereby bringing the mixture closer to what the engine needs. Try rejetting the carb, Go up one or two sizes on the main jet, one step at the time.

Now, it could be too rich as well. If it splutters and blows black smoke out the exhaust, it either jetted too rich or the float level in the carb is set wrong.

Take care of the simple stuff first before rejetting the carb. Make sure your spark plugs are the correct ones and they are not fouled from overusage of the choke or enricher. If you allow the bike to "warm up" with the enricher on, plug fouling is common with this practice. I get the bike started and as soon as it will run without the enricher or choke on, I turn it off and keep the bike running with the throttle. Don't foul as many plugs that way.

What is the quantity of fork oil in yamaha g5

It will be less than 500 ml per leg.
Fork oil is sold in 1l bottles

Drain each for leg in turn and measure qty coming out in jug.
Alternatively make sure front end is raised.
Take off the fork caps, take out the springs and use a dipstick to find how far down the oil is.
Empty each fork and refill to same mark.

WANT START SOME TIME HAVE

Hi.

If the engine dies completely when you put in gear, check the kickstand switch. This can be tested jumping its contacts, the problem should disappear.

If instead the bike is running only with choke on, that is a carburetor problem. Check mixture regulation, eventually check fuel filter, air filter and fuel lines and clean the carburetor body.
This bike is known for having very lean settings from factory (carburetor mixing little fuel and more air). Read this article on the G5 carb problem.

CLUTCH ON YAMAHA ATV GRIZZLY 80 VERY TIGHT AND

Is there oil in the gearbox? Is it really dirty? Lack of oil and dirty oil could account for the clutch problem. If you have put synthetic lubricant in the gearbox that could also account for the clutch. Synthetics can swell the cork on the clutch plates. New fiber plates would be needed.

The shifting problem could be tied to the lack of oil or dirty oil but usually the problem is bent shift forks. If fresh oil doesn't fix the clutch the clutch will need to be inspected/repaired. If that doesn't also fix the shifting, ( and I don't think it will ), the engine will need to be torn down and the shift mechanism inspected. Forks will likely need to be replaced.
