Motorcycle troubleshooting

Clutch is gone out. Cable may be broken. Clutch can be worn and need to adjust the clutch cable to get it in the right spot to go in gear. Or you may need to add gear oil that your bike requires for the gear box. If none of that helps you may need to rebuild the gear box.

Just had my 07 road star 1700 silverado in shop they cleaned and rejetted carb and did a carbon clean bike still down on power and acts like carb out of adjustment what do I do now

IF possible take to a shop with a rolling road and get it Dyno tested. People often mess about with jets etc, but without the proper kit they are just creating more problems especially on modern engines. Gone are the days when you could change a pipe then guess at the jet size, bolt it in and go. The manufacturers spend a lot of money getting the setup right, If it was that easy they wouldn't bother. Stick to standard or take to someone who ahs the right kit and knows what they are doing.

Fuel overflow problem with 2007 roadstar silverado

Gas running out of the carb indicates that the internal float valve is not shutting off the flow when the float bowl fills up. Might need cleaned; might need a new float valve assembly. Not cranking is an electrical problem. If you mean that the engine cranks over but doesn't start - then this could be a related carb problem. Take the bike to a reputable repair center near you.

Vibration

I had a vibration - rattle on my bike that n up being the passing lamp bracket knocking against the windshield cross bracket in front, I slid a pc of rubber from an inner tube between them and all was well. Get to your rpm problem area and grab the top of windshield, and push and pull to see if it affects your noise. At first I thought I may have had a pistion slat going on, but only had 18,000 miles at that point

Yamaha XV17 Runs For A Minute - Then Dies

The dealer is not interested.
The bike is set up very lean to meet emissions standards. Any of them will benefit from larger jets. It's probably running too lean.

How can you tell the clutch is slipping ?

If the revs rise but the speed doesn't seem to increase when the engine is under load...it's slipping.Does not always mean a new clutch is needed though...try adjusting it first.

Check with a Yamaha Dealer and see if they can cross your VIN over to the correct key for your bike. Several brands of bikes, this can be done.

2007 Yamaha 650 silverado classic, when I st\art

The carbs need to be cleaned and balanced. The problem is a plugged pilot jet and/or pilot circuit. Below is a partial diagram of your carb and has the pilot jet highlighted. There are enough parts and adjustments there that I am suggesting a dealer clean and adjust the carbs. You can see the full diagram at the link below. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
