How to adjust pilot jet on 2005 yamaha 125
There is no adjustment. It's a fixed jet and must be cleared with a cleaner or replaced if it doesn't clear. It's a very tiny jet. If you mean the idle mixture screw, just warm up the bike and adjust to the smoothest setting.
I am about to buy
150 for a starter ( aftermarket) and sounds like bent shifter fork few hours labour and new part not sure of shifter fork cost
Yamaha TTR 125 L have gas in my oil can you tell
you may have bad piston rings or the float level in carb is letting fuel to pour into cylinder and it is seeping down do a compression test if compression is good remove carb and clean it and check the float level there are videos on you tube for this good luck
Accelerator sticks or hangs up
if you carb has the slide and not butterfly it might be sticking
that could be a spring issue, the float would not have anything to do with the problem, also could be a issue with mixtures setting but today most are fixed with jets, also make sure your idle is set correctly and your throtle cable has slack in it as well
The clutch lever on my 2005 TTR 125 has barely any
Is this a hydraulic clutch? Sounds like it may be. You may have a leak somewhere. Check the lines and hoses, possibly needs to be bled. If it's a cable clutch, your cable may have stretched. Which could mean it needs adjustment, or replacement. This is at least where to check first. Good Luck!
Stater motor not turning over
Check power by turning your lights on.If bright, just clean the battery terminals. Most likely corroded to not enough power to starter. This happens over time, and has to be done.Make the connections at battery shine like a new dime.Reconnect and start your engine.Otherwise,do same with connection at starter. If that don't do it,replace the starter motor.
Gas leaking from bottom of carb on 90cc ATV
yes there is a tube that goes on it. It hangs straight down about an inch or two past the botom of the 4 wheelers frame. It is for a overflow of gas, which is usally caused by either dirt in the carb holding the float to high and allowing the gas to just run straight thru and out the bottom of the carb or a bent or maladjusted float setting. But since you said it just started, i would suggest this. I have fixed many and many bikes by simply removing the carb bottom and cleaning it with carb cleaner. It onlty takes a small piece of dirt between the float needle to keep the needle from making a good seat in the carb. Clean it well Please be carefull and keep the carb well away from your face as to not get any blowback of cleaner in your eyes(IT BURNS) This should fix your probblem

CARB PROBLEMS TTR 125 06 Reg
Hi,
Offhand, fuel overflow could be brought about by:
- misadjusted/punctured float; and/or
- dirt/sand lodged in the fuel inlet valve. Often this fuel inlet valve is a pin with one end pointed (sometimes rubber) and is controlled by the float.
A seized starter plunger would have to be replaced. This problem could have been brought about by:
- short/jumping contacts of the starter switch;
- sticking/corroded terminals/contactors of the starting relay.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
