Just need to know where to put oil

Oil filler cap is on the left crankcase cover (engine side cover). This oils both the engine and transmission. Check the oil level on the dipstick located on the upper frame in front of the fuel tank. This should be done after the engine has been run briefly (idle for 1 minute), then kill engine and check.

I recently adjusted

The oil is measured in by level, not by volumne.
So add the same amount to each fork to raise the level 10 or 20mm.
It can help to use a heavier wt oil, check the level of what is in there, and replace to the same amount.
Write notes and change one thing at a time, so you can set it back if the chanfges are not working,The manual has a lot of good info

How do i get my idle down on yamaha yfz 450 quad

Turn the idle screw anticlockwise half to one turn to set if this does not affect idle speed then you need to look further inside carbi or intake valves for other issues

My Yamaha YZ 450 F runs but then stops?

The last time I came accross this issue was o3 YZ 450 it would start first kick then once operating temp died never to be started again until the next day or two
if this sounds like your YZ then most likely issue is the stator - it is very easy to replace it but you do need some special tools like t30 allen key and fly wheel puller to suit your bike
Happy to elaborate on installation if you want to tackle it yourself

Oil capacity 2008 yz450f

I believe the engine and transmission are shared, using the same oil.
You should have a sight glass on the left side, and it should be checked after a warm up, and then sit for a couple of minutes. I think it's close to a quart and a half.

How do i remove the hot start pluger from my

with carby off the bike you can carefully drill into center of the plunger enough to get a small screw to grab into it when you turn the thread into the plunger. this is usually enough to gently twist and pull the plunger out ( use little WD40 or simular to help on the way out aswell)
The metal of the plunger is very soft so with new drill bit (small one ) it will be very easy to drill and cordless drill is best nice and slow and you want just enough hole to screw a small wood screw or simalar one ore two turns
