Please check if the battery takes the self starter. Then we will check if there is good bluish spark at the plug point and if gas is reaching the carb or not. If gas and current reach the cylinder head then the bike has to start.

Hi... Problem with your bike...Let me help you.... I see you have , one spark then nothing... well I suggest to look first at your condensor and your electronics Ignition Box... Make sure your battery is full charge.. when you try to start the bike several time
it take so much current on the battery, then you dont have enough
voltage to innitiate your spark correctly to your spark plug ... if it yellowish or redish it no good, but if it blue spark it correct..
also check the voltage from the magneto see if it gave you the right volgage to the coil when you start..
the battery is use only to start the engine till the magneto take over
The right voltage it betwen 12V to 14Volts when the motor is running ...
Way too much oil, how do I fix?
If the problem was just overfill, the smoke should clear up after running it for awhile. You may want to replace air filter or clean if possible.
Starting problem
sounds like a fuel block or the fuel is not being primed enough prior to the first start , try checking the fuel line for any kinks or twists and make sure it has a straight flow to the carb.

hi.
please excuse me if i seem to be asking obvious questions.
1. have you drained the tank and put fresh fuel in, preferrably with redex or equivalent fuel additive/cleaner
2. have you checked/cleaned the air filter.
3. have you checked and cleaned the spark plugs.
4. if there is a battery, is it charged and holding charge properly.
if you can answer YES to all of the above, then please tell me the make and model of the bike so i can give more specific advice on servicing a bike after storage.
if the answer for any of the above is NO, then try them first as they are general steps for starting any vehicle after any length of time in storage. if the bike still does not run properly, then i will need the make and model of the bike as there are different procedures for different types of carburetter, and different thing again if there is fuel injection.
please feel free to ask for further advice.

If you are positive the exhaust is not clogged, have you rebuilt the top end recently? The only thing I can think of is the piston is in backwards forcing the exhaust side to push into the carbs. The arrow on the piston always points to the exhaust ports.

Make sure that the tyre is completely off the rim beeding and push the tyre on the opposite side of the valve to the centre of the rim and then proceed to lever the tyre off (with tyre levers)about 100mm from valve on either end.
make sure you have undone the nut that secures the valve first.

Here are the possibilities > > Bent clutch push rod, missing push rod ball bearing or push rod, worn out actuator shaft cam, Missing friction disk (5), or pressure plate (4), totally worn out friction disks, clutch plates not installed in the correct sequence, extremely weak clutch springs, stripped teeth on the clutch hub, wrong clutch cable length (inner cable vs outer cable), broken shaft, bent then broken shift fork stems, broken slider gear dogs and a missing shift fork pin.
You didn't say if anyone had worked on the clutch or gearbox so I am throwing in nearly EVERYTHING possible that could create the problem. A little more background and most of the above can be ruled out. Get back to us.
