Changed out regulator/rectifier and stator today both brand new new battery still dies or drains out during a short ride?? I'm lost now

You need to check the voltage on the battery while the engine is running. If it's less than 14volts, then the charging system isn't working at all, and that's how you test it. Don't just replace parts, test until you find what's bad. It may be as simple as a broken wire.

What do I need to do to get l.e.d turn signals to work on my motorcycle?

That's because the LED bulbs draw so little current the flasher relays doesn't know anything is there. You need an electronic flasher relay, OR you need to put a resistor in parallel with the bulbs to draw more power. I *think* you have a pretty common 2-post relay, or possibly a 3-post relay on your bike, so something like this should work; https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/car-install-supplies/cf13gl-02-led-bulb-electronic-flasher/782/

How many quarts oil should yamaha vstar hold

Check this site out: http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/main.asp?webtag=yamaha1100&nav=start&prettyurl=%2Fyamaha1100%2Fstart&gid=2010825370 Stock oil filter installed: 3.17 quarts if no filter change - 3.3 quarts if filter changed DO NOT OVERFILL! FYi - there's a site glass on the left side of the bike, under the left riders peg. Make sure the bike is level, oil is warm and bike is off - do not let the oil get over the upper mark... just under the upper mark is good, a little closer to middle is better. Checking charging system

Check the acid level in the battery. After a season running in hot weather, wet-plate batteries have often lost some water to evaporation. I see this often here in Texas. The new charge won't hold and electrical gremlins pop up often. Also check for loose or corroded connectors on battery terminals and starter relay.

Where is the Loose ground wire on the frame

Loose ground wires can cause all kinds of problems, and since ground wires are located in multiple locations specific to each model, each wire must be checked to assure connection. If you have a starter problem, check the positive connection to the starter as well. Remove seat and side covers and look closely at the frame to find black and/or black with another color attached to the frame. Remove, clean and reinstall each connection. Paint, rust and other corrosion can degrade connections. Also check your wires for corrosion, especially the battery wires.

Does 2002 v star 1100 start up in gear with clutch pulled?

Not by default. The switch is normally open and when you pull in the clutch it closes the switch. Some owners like to by-pass the clutch switch and that allows the bike to start in gear. You can by-pass the clutch safety switch in a couple of ways. Details and discussions are available on this forum (locate the "web page" tab at the top of the main page): http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/main.asp?webtag=yamaha1100&nav=start&prettyurl=%2Fyamaha1100%2F&gid=2132573035 If it's already happening for you, these instructions will serve to help you locate where the change was made.
