Are you using the correct grade of spark plug? Also are you using the correct grade of fuel, the wrong fuel type can cause problems with plugs.

check your air filter, if it is dirty change it.

If it smells like burnt oil and the colour of smoke is white like fogg.Your engine needs repairing I think. Check the engine oil level.If it is under the level your piston, piston rings dead and may be cylinder needs grinding.
second reason, the engine's inlet valve's bearing is dead

sounds like water from ethonal in gas or trash try to find some stabil ethonal treatment and run it in every tank but first try to turn your gas on and drain your carb bowls with the screww on the very bottom of the carbs drain into glaas to see if there is any water or trash or to see if you are getting fuel let me know

Sounds like a bad valve to me.... have you checked the compression? that would be the first step.

If your rings were shot and the engine was running you would see billows of blue smoke coming out the pipes, as well as oil. If not running, then your fuel would end up in your sump inflating the amount of oil in there. (this does happen on all bikes only ridden around town, get it out on the highway to burn off the excess fuel then recheck your oil level.)
I'm wondering if you left your fuel tap on overnight (if it has one) if so, then you will have fuel running back out either the carbs or the boot that goes from the carb to the engine. Oil will leak if your valve seals are shot. it is possible that it was only fuel that was stained with a bit of oil.

Sounds like lack of fuel to the engine. Has the bike been sitting for some time? You may want to pull the carburetor and give it a good cleaning payning particular attention to the jets. Don't use anything made of steel to clean your jets because you'll run the risk of enlarging and ruining them. I've had success using either wooden toothpicks (for large jets) or copper wire (small jets). Make sure you take your time and work very carefully when cleaning them; if you rush, you can end up with something broken off into a jet orifice and having to buy new ones.

This is a highly ill - eagle act to do. In the old days we would put an electric drill on the drive cable, but now they make them tamper proof so they only go one way. The bezels are crimped on so you can't get inside them. I expect modern one may be electronic. How will your insurance company know what mileage you have done? I have never known an insurance cancel or fine due to mileage. You should have just disconnected it when you got close to the limit. Buy a used one and use them for 6 months in turns.
