NEW CARB AND RAN .
Check for a fuel system obstruction. The first place to check for a blockage is the fuel filter. Since there is more than 1 carb on the bike, it sounds like from your description that the engine is uniformly running poorly which would point to the common fuel source to all of the carbs.
Getting the spark plugs out!
you don't need a " spark plug sockets" a simlpy thin wall socket will work. i have had some bike where i needed to take a donor socket and grind the O.D. down to meet me needs. its a tight spot so dont let yourself get worked up, that only leads to broken parts. The other thing you can do is head over to your local yamaha shop and buy the socket. I wish there was easy way to solve your problem without spending some cash. good luck and please let me know how you make out

I have a 1986 Yamaha Virago, the horns do not
i dont know. but since its an 86 i'll take a guess that your horn is probably bad...check it with a voltmeter..hook up the red +lead to any of the two wires going to the horn then ground the other lead to a good bare frame or bolt, press the horn button..you'll see 12v when you press the button if that didn't work try the other wire...if you still dont see 12v then the horn is probably good and you have a broken wire or a bad fuse, sorry i dont know the location...but it should be with all the others like all the other bikes i"ve owned..you could just try replacing all the fuses that you see with new ones and then see if it works.

First things first .Remove your spark plugs ,Place them on the cylinders head .push the kick starter and watch t see if the plugs are sparking, and if the thev spark is strong or weak .If the plugs are sparking OK then check that you are getting petrol to them .It could be a nimber of problems wrong with your bike .You may have a fuel & air problem .or it may be that your choke unit is not closing properly when you try to start first thing .try your plugs first then the fuel ,Is your air cleaner blocked .You may have blocked jets in the carbs .

Check the igniter. Go back to the dealer and ask him to see one. Then go back and find it on your bike. Yamaha's usually have them under the seat, or left side. But I don't know exactly what year you have. Run the VIN on the frame under my tips and tricks is a web site that'll break it down for you.

How do the fuel lines route on my 1986 fz 750 I
Your in luck... You can route fuel lines any way you want just keep them clear of heat sources and any where they may kink. If need be, you can even get longer hose to re-route. Keep it as short as possible and you'll be fine.
Carburetor problem wont run propley.how do i fix
Drain your carb bolws and see what you have, If it comes out with white paticles you will need to pull the carbs and clear the jets of trash.. Kit not needed unless you damage a gasket or o ring.
