2009 gsxr 600 does not start. Clutch engaged fuel

Well its not starting because you don't have enough voltage. The most likely reason your battery is low is because your not charging when riding due to a bad rectifier/regulator, they go out a lot on GSX-R's. Had to replace mine 3 times already on a 2009 gixxer 600, they put them in a bad place and they get so hot they go bad.

I have just installed r55 in gsxr k8 and now after 100 temprature it got late starting problem

Hi, you could try replacing the old parts, and check if the problem still exsists, it sounds like the bike is running lean with the new system fitted, addvise fitting a power comander to correct fueling problem and remaping the power comander to suite. Your exhaust application. Hope this helps. Paul

How do I replace a handle bar on a 2008 GSXR

Support bike on paddoc stand, support also under engine to take the weight of the steering, remove your handlebar, do not disturbe any of the bolts on the bottom yoke and providing you have no weight on the steering you will not disturbe the suspension replace in reverse order, do not worry its not a big job, if replacing the r/h handlebar undo the twistgrip unit and slide it onto the new bar before fitting to the bike, this will omit the use for removing the cables.

I have 2008 gsxr 600. I recently had a power

Hi the power comander is easily removed as it runs in series with the bikes orIginal wireing, you simply remove the wire connectors from the injectors and the original connectors and the bike is back to normal while they send the power comander back to dynojet, its not unusual for the wires within the dynojet plugs to become faulty poping out of the block as you push the 2 connectors together, does your bike have 8injectors, 4 low rev controled and 4 higher rev controlers, as per instructions You must plug into the correct injectors, if the unit is faulty it will be replaced under warranty, with the pc 111 removed ride the bike and check if the fault still exsists, was the exhaust sensor wire removedAnd the o2eliminator fitted, this gives the pcomander full controll, never heard of a faulty one , heard of one that didn,t work. I would phone dynojet uk, if you live in uk, tell them the problem etc, tellephone(0)1995500600

Location of all vin numbers on bike and engine. ?

The vin number commonly known as the frame or chassis number can be found on the front tube of the frame, headstock to the righthand siide at this point the steering yoke is affixed, if this is a uk bike the vin plate should be on the righthand of the frame also, close to your. Right knee when you sit on the bike, but the number on this plate is the same as the one found on the frame, the engine number is located also on the right hand side ontop of the crackcase just above the clutch cover, all of this information can be found on the log book, or registration doc if you have one hope this helps

WHen I pull the clutch lever in on my 2008 gsxr600

hi prock,

you have a possible problem with the clutch lining or the engagement assembly of the clutch. getting the line too tight will get the clutch in too deep preventing the bike from starting.

best bid is to have it checked by your dealer and let the warranty work for your side.

This sounds like heavy duty springs in the clutch. Just have to get used to it. I suspect this is a cable actuated clutch correct? If it isn't then that does sound a little strange. Usually hydraulic clutch lever action is pretty easy... Good luck HDTV GURU JAY

I change spark plugs. It skips bad, will not idle

And. It was ok before you changed the plugs is that what you are saying.? Did you remove the sensor from the airbox, or the tps sensor. Have you accidently removed a vachume pipe, this will cause the machine not to idle. Have you replaced the plug caps securley and in the correct order, 1to4 from left to right.run the engine check all four exhausts are getting hot to the same temp, have you checked the new plugs for a correct gap, i know ther are new but its not impossible for some one to drop them on the floor closing the gap, prior to purchase, thus not fireing on that plug

My 600 gsxr just quit, feels like no fuel.or no

Well first you have to determine is it fuel or spark loss.first remove one spark plug reinsert in plug boot, with insulated gloves or rubber handled plyers hold sparkplug conneted to wire against the head of bike.Ignition on kill switch in run position (disconnect all other plug wires in case it starts).hit starter and you should see a nice crisp blue spark. If nothing you have a ignition problem most likly a bad coil or cdi box.if you have spark repete on all other cyclenders to make sure all electrical circuts are working.also take note as you remove all spark plugs are the wet with gas,if there dry you have a fuel problem.

If I do full headers and exhaust on my 08 Suzuki

Hello,

Yes, your carbs will have to be tuned to your exhaust - this, usually, means upgrading the needles/seats in your carbs. I bought a Cobra exhaust system for my Suzuki (earlier model) and it came with the upgrade kit for my carbs.

Some people are happy adjusting the jets out further and living with poor fuel mileage, fouling plugs and lousy performance.

Do some research by calling your parts dealer and ask them if they have the carb kit for the exhaust you are wanting to buy. I use one of two online dealers; Bike Bandit or Old Bike Barn

Hope this helps. If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank you.

My 06 GSXR 600 just died while driving, and the

Hi first thing to check ins that you have 12 volts at the battery, it is unlikely that the burning is coming from the injection ecu, if you have 12 volts in the battery but no ignition lights the chances are the burning you have smelled is an electrical short circuit, which has caused the fuse to blow, in addition to the fuse located in the fuse box, check the starter relay, most models incorp a main fuse here, follow the poss red wire from the battery to locate the relay here the wire will split in to 2, check here for any fuses, secondly if you have no life at all in the battery not even enough to make a glimmer on the ignition light, the burning you have smelled could have come from the regulator rectifier in the bikes charging system check the rear of this unit for any burning to the silicone sealent, a fault with this could have blown a fuse also, it would be difficult to estimate a repaire cost without knowing the fault, try turning the ignition switch to the lock park position and check if rear light iluminates, this uses a separate ignition live, if this lights you would then know if you have suficiant power in the battery, to iluminate the ignition lite aand the fault would not be battery related,
