Recheck the battery conections, undoing them clean them and then replace them, it may be that when you put the battery on charge if you didnot remove it from the bike you may have blown the main fuse, this is not the fuse located in the fuse box, it is the fuse located at the starter solenoide, follow the poss red wire from the battery to the solenoide, here you will find where the wires attach to the solenoide, a fuse located under a plastic cover, supplys ignition power, i trust you have done a thorough test on the battery. ? What do I check if my Bike will turn over but not

if you have a fuel feed to the injectors (take the feed pipe off the injector rail / throttle body, and turn ignition on and off v-quickly, fuel should come out very quickly)
if you have a spark (remove a coil / ht lead, put a spare spark plug into it, rest onto metal surface (block/head is good) and crank over, you are looking for a bright blue spark that is frequent)
if you have both of these then it should start (unless there is too much / insufficient air flow into the firing chamber- check air filter is correctly fitted and clean)
hope this helps

Check for power to the starter,if no power there then make sure the kill switch isn't stuck or broken inside. If you do have power to the starter then it's probably bad.

My bike fell over now there's a warning light on?

Hi there,

It could be the case that some components got wet, was it pressure washed on the inside as well? Check for the fuses, it could be that one is burnt. Check for oil level. The warning light comes on if its an engine failure, starter failure, sometimes grounding or shorting on the chassis, and oil level.

Also, to be sure nothing's been disconnected due to the power of the pressure wash, i'd recommend taking the flairings (covers) off the bike and manually checking for dangling wires if every anything was disconnected. It may help also to un-plug then replugging the wires connected to the CDI. It could be the case that it got water there as well.

Hope this helps,

My 2003 suzuki gsxr won't

Hi from Spain,

no way to choke this fuel injected bike in theory....but by my experience try to start the bike with fully open throttle several times, take care do not flat the battery, if the bike has not much fuel do not try with the bike on the side stand so the fuel cannot reach the fuel pump inlet.

BR,

Emilio.

Bike wont start press the

Follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. Unplug the two small wires going to the solenoid and use a voltage meter to see if you have continuity when you press the starter button. If you do not, clean the starter button or replace the switch assembly. If you jump the two cable terminals on the solenoid and the starter cranks, you have a bad solenoid. If you hold the starter button and tap the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works, you need new starter brushes. Any other problem with the starter and you will need to buy a new assembly.

What is the normal engine tempeture for a 2007

Your temp gauge should read in degrees F. Water, I hope, water cooled, the bike should run at 180, 190, depending on how hot it is out. If you are in traffic, and red lights, it will be much higher, your fans should kick on at 212 or so, and stay on till you get back in the wind. My bike runs exactly 100 degrees hotter than the outside air temp. i have checked it a hundred times, when I pass a thermometer outside a bank or something. It is weird, but I always know how hot out it is. Hope this helps.

Hear a slight knocking sound coming from engine.

take it back to that mechanic and have him look at your rods. or it could be a matter of no lube to the upper part of the motor. Give the oil a change and see if that fixes it. if not have the rods looked at.

My 06 gsxr750 heat up really fast. Temp stays

My bike is the same, It runs at exactly 100 degrees more than outside air temp, and at a light, or in stop and go traffic, it will go to 212 when the fans come on. It is like sitting on a blowtorch. But that is normal, Harley's run a lot hotter than that. Mine is an 02 S4 Ducati. Been like that since new. I avoid Daytona, the worst place on earth for bikes. They have an average of 1200 burned bikes every year. Sitting in traffic for hours, not moving. And the noise, my lord, get a stinking muffler on that pig!!! Hope this helps.
