The clutch cable is the first place to check as it's a high failure rate part and also the easiest to fix. It you can see the clutch arm with the bike assembled, pull the handelbar handle and see if the arm moves all the way. under the counter shafts sprockets cover is the arm and it's adjustment screw it could have backed out or is brocken. You may be able to remove this cover and watch it operate. Does the handle bar lever pull in with the normal amount of play and feel? Most bikes that have been sitting though the winter can have stuck and now the cable or the clutch is stuck or broken. The clutch that was working and not the very next use probly not the clutch it's self but the cable and or the handle bar or linkage. means you're having a problem with your secondary throttle position sensor. very common problem with suzuki.

Could be ignition fuse. If not that then check the large block connectors which are usually located on the left hand side at the front of the bike behind the cowling beneath the handle bar. These connectors are notorious on GSXR's

have you checked compression on it, plugs out comp tester in crank see what happens, then a small amount of oil see if compression goes up some,

BUY A testmeter from ebay 7 quid, run bike and check output, no more than 14 ish volts put dial to 20 anti clock wise, also feel the resin on the back of the unit, if all bubbled a sign it is shagged. test with meter pins on the battery terminals,

Hey Kevin,..Sounds like the charging system is not working at all.. DO NOT jump start this will a car ..TOO many amps!! Get one of your friends to help you... get a multimeter(analog or digital).. set it to read up to over 20 volts DC...crank the bike, check the voltage at the battery (WITHOUT the booster/jumper connected).. it should read at least 13.5 - 13.8 volts at 3000 rpm..If you are getting any lower.. its time for trouble shooting the charging system...generator, voltage regulator, rectifier, etc.. Sounds like dirty injectors or fuel filter. Try some injector cleaner in tank. Other than that, you need to get it checked out

Does it sound like it's slightly misfiring? There is an idle adjustment screw located just under the tank on the left side of the bike if you're sitting on it. Try turning it clockwise in small increments until t smooths out.

It depends on weither or not you have any aftermarket stuff put on the bike. My 600 will do 182 but that is with a power commander, acceleration kit, k&n air induction kit, k&n filter, and having it dyno tuned. My buddys stock 600 will do about 166 mph

Sounds like the ignition switch thinks it is in the "park" or "acc" position. Could be an internal switch problem.

replace the pump. If it only does it sometimes check the electric plug thats connected to it. its located directly under the tank connected to the pump

Sounds like the ignition switch. Start by just checking the connection where it plugs in. If that seems OK thantry to wiggle the key around while you hold something on like the horn. Seems pretty new for that to be faulty, but you never know.
