My suzuki GS500 can't star after I washed it, what

If you are having problems starting your bike after washing, you would need to check the battery if the cables loosen up and the spark plug as well.

I was riding my bike the other day and it stopped

it's not normal for a bike to kills automatically because of the idle....you need to check your fuel filter might have a lot of gas particles , dirt, etc.or clean your carb, to have a smooth gasoline distribution. If this two thing were done and the prob still the same then, your ignition coil is no longer functioning normal.Change it. If you have that kind of symptoms for your bike then it can also be ignition coil, it automatically kills your bike when it become hot..

I have a gs500f and sometimes I press the start

Check the connections on both ends of the wire from the battery to the starter solenoid and on both ends of the wire from the solenoid to the starter. You have a loose or dirty connection somewhere in the large wires that feed the starter. The sound you are hearing is the solenoid clicking in. There is a remote possibility that the solenoid is bad (dirty inside) and if all the wires are good that's where I would go next.

When starting its just clicking and the starter

Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. The starter cables get warm due to excessive cranking, or high amperage. The starter or solenoid need to be repaired or replaced.

My Suzuki GS 500E has low compression

Low compression is typically a sign of worn piston rings. The fix is very expensive - overhaul of the engine. You may find it is more economical to replace your motorcycle. Before you go over the edge, I suggest you have your engine looked at by a professional, who can ascertain if in fact your compression is low and will have a prety good guess at the cause and the repairs required. You can probably get some more miles from your motorcycle by using heavier grade oil ... if it is worn rings, it will ONLY get worse, it will not improve.

W reg GS500E. Having taken

An slightly clogged air filter will make the air fuel mixture slightly richer, giving you more torque from the engine so the engine will feel meatier at low revs.
Readjust the carbs by slightly raising the level in the bowl, it will have the same effect.

Just bought a 89 suzuki

Are you sure that the key is in the off position. Many motorcycles have a "PARK" position that allows you to park the bike, pull the key, and leave the tail light on. Try turning the key to different positions until every thing is off. If you can remove the key now you have found the "OFF" position.

Suzuki gs500e all electrics work

Electrical issues are difficult to fix in general. I have a Suzuki GSX-F Katana which has similar electrical mapping. When I was fixing my brake lights, I found the connection underneath the rear faring behind the seat. You'll need to make sure those wires are there, undamaged, and connected. Otherwise locate the fuse box and make sure the fuse for the rear brakes is still good. If you like my solution please feel free to give me a thumbs up!
