Bike is starting slugish have hit start button 2 or 3 times to get it turn over

The obvious thing is a battery fault-either a faulty connection or low charge. Probably the latter. Look at: Motorcycle Forum & Motorcycle Forum

The ligths will not go off even when i take out

If your bike is like my M95 Boulevard then when you turn the key to the right and remove the key the park lights will stay on. This will flatten the battery in quick time.
So if you turn the key to the left and remove the key this will cut power to both the engine and the lights.
If this isn't the problem take it to your dealer and see if there is a fault.

I have a grinding noise

If it's still "grinding" with the engine shut off and the bike is coasting then it's not the engine. Have you tried coasting in netural? Any difference with the clutch in or out? Does it grind regardless of what gear you are in? Have you eliminated any possible shaft drive noise? Does it still grind when you brake? Disconnect the speedo sensor and see if it stops. A slightly warpped brake rotor will cause a noise. These are few things to check to help narrow it down.
Good luck, i hope this helps you.

Just bought a 2008 Suzuki

The sensor could be bad. More likely is an oil pump gone bad. Has the oil filter ever been changed? It may be restricting oil flow, thus activating the oil light.

I have a huge problem

Your motorcycle is equipped with hydraulic lifters . If you do not have adequate oil pressure the hydraulic lifters will not zero tolerance the valve clearances and you will hear the valves clattering. The rockers also float on oil and can be damaged by low oil pressure. Individual lifters can go flat and need replacement. But it sounds like a general oil pressure problem if the red oil pressure light has come on. Pull off the valve covers and look , maybe an rocker end cap has come loose and you are losing your pressure there. You will either have to plug/fix a leak or replace a oil pressure pump to fix the problem. With any luck there is no additional damage caused by the lack of oil pressure.

Won't start, starter spins, won't engage

Hello,

Check your Solenoid for proper operation. This Solenoid is what actuates (engages) the starter.

Hope this helps. If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Also, if you need further help, please Comment with more information so that I may be of further assistance. Thank you.

My 2005 C50T has been sitting for some time. I

it sounds like your battery or charging system is shot. when you jump started it was off a car?? was the car running?? if the car was running then it is likely you have fried your charging system, your car alt. buts out more volts then a bike and long and short of it can " overload " you charging system.
this is what i would do for starters, check your charging system you'll need a volt meter " multimeter "
and a few tools to get to your battery. check your battery before you start your bike it should be at 12 volts or right near +/- now start the bike and check you charge at idle, 13 volts +/- now rev your bike or have a buddy do it for you, you get around 14 volts. it your volts drop when you rev the bike or at any time while the bike is running your charging system is shot. your charging system is three thing 1 stator, this is what makes the electricity (a/c) the next in line is the regulator rectifier this takes the a/c and converts into d/c. electricity can only be made in a/c and can only be stored in d/c, it also regulates it to 14.5. the third is of course the battery. if any part is not working right the whole thing fails. while your at there at your battery pull it out and do a load test on it, if you dont have a load tester your local parts store or bike shop should.
check into this part and let me know what you find if everything checks out good we'll take the next step
good luck

What is the correct work

Hello,

On the lower left hand side of the motorcycle is a chrome plated plastic cover. Remove the three Allen screws that hold the cover on. Take the cover off to revel the radiator. Check the back side of the radiator for a petcock and, if your bike has one, loosen it do drain the radiator. If there is no petcock, simply remove the bottom radiator hose and let the coolant drain.

Please drain the old coolant into a container and dispose of it properly.

When refilling, you should notice coolant levels on the radiator. Fill to proper level and replace the cover.

If you find this information useful, please vote on this answer.

Regards,

Oz

CAUTION: Do this procedure while the engine and coolant are cold to prevent injury.
