Should i actually buy a neck brace

Its one of those things. If you don't use it, you wish you did. You will notice a little restriction, but if you crash (and we all do) it is a good investment. I would say yes to it if you can afford it.

My rmz 250 wont start on the first kick when the

It takes a little suction for the gas to reach the cylinder from the carb. When it is hot and on, the gas is readily available. So a kick or two, when cold starting is not abnormal. Alternatively, kick twice with the key in off position. Then turn the key on and kick, the engine will start instantly. Idea is the make the gas reach the inlet.

Hello mate, if you do not have a manual, take the spark plug out and the casing off the flywheel, Find a small stick or screwdriver and place it in the sparkplug hole but do not let go of it, then with the other hand turn the flywheel until the piston reaches the top of the bore, then turn the flywheel left and right, then check the marks, this should tell you which one is TDC.

Here is a link to bike bandits carb page for the rmz. Looks like the stock pilot is 35 and the main is 168, it looks like there are two other jets too, starter and power.

It start whith that the suzuki was harder and

de decompressor as to be there....those four stroke need a good kickstart to fired ( without decompressor can broke you're kickstart pedal or hurt you badly..) i sugest you recheck valve clearance and make sure the timing is done when you are at top death center and you're exhaust cam is about to be open shortly after top death center.( that means you are in the right position to align the mark on both cam to each side of the head....also you can check out for fire problemme ( timing or firing at wrong time) you said it as fire then just put gaz into the spark plug hole (a spoon) then it should start right away or try to....then if it wont start you know carburation is not an issue because you by pass the carb by injected gaz right on top of piston...then only thing left is fire and compression...if you have all that one with care....let me know ill find away to make that things [email protected] .....stephane.

2005 Rmz250 wont start when hot.

YOUR BIKE HAS A POWER VALVE (DIAPHRAM FUEL PUMP) THAT GIVES A SHOT OF GAS EACH TIME THE THROTTLE IS TWISTED. WHEN THE BIKE IS HOT, IT FLOODS EASILY. DON'T HIT THE THROTTLE WHEN STARTING THE BIKE WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT.

What oil should i use

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell. If in a hot area like Texas or New Mexico go with 20w50.
2dffcc1.gif
Use TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL in the pump. If not using an automatic oil pump, then mix the gas and oil 32 to 1. That equals 4 ounces of TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL to one gallon of gas. NEVER use motor oil in the gas. Only two stroke engine oil.
