My bike cuts out at 4500rpms and starts up as soon
I would suspect you have an ignition problem. Diagnosing over the net is tough without hearing and feeling it - you know what I mean. Is there any recent history with the bike - was it layed down, worked on, modified, run really hard, has it been in storage - what kind of recent history do you have for this bike?

Check out the side stand safety switch, check if the switch is sticking remove any grease or dirt that may prevent the piston returning

Sounds to me like dirt in the tank or a dirty fuel filter ... possibly dirt in the tank valve, maybe some water?
If this were my trouble, I think I would first try some gas treatment and look for a filter.

What type and weight of
Use any oil that is a JASO MA rated/certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cold
climate. 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Car oils use different
additives and may cause scoring in certain types of cam bearings. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label .
It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. If
you use Synthetic oils, they will help your motorcycle run cooler and shift
easier. Suzuki sells an excellent 15w-50 full synthetic motorcycle oil that is reasonably priced.

Yes, you are right. It is the fuel pump. Fix or Replace and your good to go.
A customer of mine wanted me to change his fuel pump, because his didn't work.
When i was taking it off the bike i noticed a broke wire - fixed the broke wire and the fuel pump worked - check the wires to it too. It happens, saved him alot of money.
