Hi, I have a 2006

Mobil Premium Gas
Has the best additives to clean injectors and produce great performance

Speedway/ Marathon (same company) is the only gasoline fuel refined in the USA these days. The rest is imported and auctioned off in Los Angeles to the highest bidders. Strange as it may seem the gas is refined by using foriegn OIL and we use the most in the world so the foriegn oil is always based on selling using the US Dollar . If sold in Germany they have to use the US Dollar as well. If our economy does not get better in the next 5 years the Euro may take over causing the price of GAS sold in the USA to cost us $10, $11, $12 & more at the pump per gallon

I have a 1990 suzuki

2_1.pngThis pick up is in the side cover the bolts that hold the wires on ( the ground fail)
ground fail) the two wires where they come though the case fail
and the plug that it plugs into get dirty. The ingter and it'
s bolts that hold it on fail to connect to ground. It's a very bad Idea
to let a bike worm up for 20 minutes as it'll overheat teal bad. this
part is expensive and may have gotton hot enough to fail, 1-2
Minutes are fine to warmup any air cooled bike as the bike has to be moving for the air to go though the cooling fins. Wuth the key on and this pick-up unplugged first
and the plug wire with a plug in it so you can see the spark, cross the
qires it qas plugged into temporatrily qith a paper clip or other wire
and see if it sparks/ If it does the ingter is good and the pickup is
bad. as long as there's key on power to the coil and it doesn't fire
then the ingter is bad

How to change chain and

chain and sprockets are straight forward you will need a rear paddock stand to do it, first would be to break old chain off can use a chain breaker if you dont have one an angle grinder or one of those electric grinding stones i use one works fine so use it to split the chain ideally break the chain where the chain is joined ie the split link this link will have to different rivets in it than others and is easiest to break...then pop of the back wheel is only one nut holding on the axle so is easy enough to pop off an adjustable wrench or a spanner think the size is 27m or so but you will know which fits......the front sprocket is in behind the clutch casing so that has to come off and might need to take off the left fairing not a big deal either just a pain? the sprocket can be seen when casing is off front sprocket can be awkward to work around but im sure youll be grand as for .....the rear sprocket is very easy just 5 bolts holding it in place and very straight forward..... installation of sprockets is straight forward the chain then depends on your tools if you have chain breaker is very easy but the key to putting the chain back on is making sure the new link you put back in is right way round ie links to the front an that you hammer the tips down nice and flat this make take about 40 50 minutes with a punch and hammer again i could go into more detail but i dont know what tools ya have but you cant go massively wrong when taking the bike out for a run after just keep a check on the chain for any movement hope this helps

Need cold setting for idle

unfortunatly with mixture settings its a bit trial and era but the best place to start is turn the mixture screw right in then back out 1 and a half turns run the bike once warm rev on full throttle for a second then let cooldown and check the plug you want a nice tan colour electrode to indicate perfect mixture if plug shows black turn the screw out half a turn more or if the plug starts to white screw in half a turn basicly if rich more turns out if weak more in but just do half turns at a time hope this helps

I lost my key and

they are held on with tamperproof screws from underneath, you need to get the heads to turn with a small chisel or punch, or drill the heads off and replace with normal screws.
You will probably need to remove the top triple clamp to work on it

HOW TO ADJUST , AND

years of experience and a quad vacuum gauge calibration tool. this is why even other machanics have their bikes sync'd and adjusted in the shop. also alot of carbs are slightly differnt, so if you really want someone to tell you how to do it you need to state what bike you have and what carbs it has in it, also jet settings and sizes would be helpfull.

Bike has intermitded problem bike

Do any other lights come on when neutral doesn't?Does the starter work if you pull in the clutch? There is a sidestand switch which, if the sidestand is down, prevents the starter motor from operating. But it does not affect the neutral light. It sounds like you have a bad switch or connection/ splice. CHECK THAT THE BIKE IS REALLY IN NEUTRAL BEFORE YOU HIT THE START BUTTON or you will end up wearing the bike.

Ideally put the bike on a paddock stand and ensure that the sprocket/ nuts to not foul the carrier.

This will confirm or dismiss the problem in the N switch. As far as the problem itself, it could be one of three things.

1) Short in the wiring from the neutral switch to the light.

2) Short in power to neutral switch.

3) Bad neutral switch.
------------ When you are shifting from 1st to neutral and it does that, the gears are probably not completely disengaging and is "stuck" between the 2 gears, just push it up a little harder and you should be fine! --------- one of the other user who had the same problem some time before solved the problem.he says"I had exactly the same problem and just got the dealer to replace the gear position sensor/indicator and everything was fine its not an uncommon problem for the gear position sensor to fail from my research on the subject when i 1st had the problem. Mine was doing exactly what you talking about, the neutral light wouldnt come on at all even though the bike was in neutral and the gear indicator on the display would just display a line. It displayed all the other gears fine but it was just neutral that was causing the problem. Anyway replace the gear position indicator and all is good since then."------- This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

MY 02 750 KATANA WILL NOT CRANK. IT'S BEEN SITTING

If the carbs were not drained before it was laid up, it forms a varnish and clogs everything. Try removing the carbs, stripping them and giving them a good clean. Blow out the jets but don't prod anything into the holes. Also remove the plugs and sqirt a bit of oil into the plug holes to lubricate the bores, crank the engine like this to spread the oil and get rid of the excess, put the plugs back and give it a whirl. It will make plenty of smoke but that will clear.

Hey, Not sure why all this work was done, but yes, your valve timing is most likely off after assembly. Unlees some how the plug wires were reversed, causing a misfire, but I doubt that.
