easy mate, get an old screw driver a thin one heat the end up cherry red, bend over the las 5 mm cool it and put into seal and gently move round and pull out clean area tap new seal in with deep socket right way round, make sure you see how it came out

carb float levels need setting,check side stand switch or remove it.

check compression if low. you will have to rering it. gas going by rings under compression

The carburetor needs to be cleaned. If you aren't sure about how to do it, get someone at a motorcycle shop to do it.

Well there should be plugs in every available plug on the harness. You need to have the ecu ,and the regulator ,stator, main harness all attached.

The soot is probably from the backfiring. If it only runs on choke, there is too much air and not enough gas. Clean or replace your idle and/or your low speed jets.

Check the fuel level in the float chambers of the carbs, it could be too low! Readjust the float to obtain correct level. Blow out the primary and main jets with compressed air. Hope you adjusted the air screw mixture at the right temperature of the engine i.e. you need to warm it up and than adjust also check the valve clearance of the engine. Hope this helps

Yes it should just your bendex is stuck. If it doesn't spin needs to be replaced

check for connections behind headlights look for blown fuses in system..

only if its fuel injected , gravity fed with poss pulse pipe from intake ! check fuel tap not blocked and carb jets etc are clean !
