Sensors in the Fuel Injection system have detected a major problem. The Fuel Injection system will not allow the bike to start if a major problem comes up. Take the bike to a dealer and have them hook up a code reader. This will tell them what triggered the alert. Bear in mind, it may just be a bad sensor.

The clicking tells you that the starter button is working.
Take off your side cover and locate the starter solenoid. You can follow the positive battery cable to it. Touch the two cables bolted onto the solenoid together (you can use a piece of wire, a jumper cable clamp, or an old screw driver) if the starter turns over you have a bad solenoid.
Hold the starter button and gently tap on the starter with a plastic hammer. If the starter works you probably need to rebuild the starter by putting in a new set of brushes. If there is anything else wrong with the starter you will have to buy a new one . On most motorcycles parts (other than the brushes) are not available, all you can do is replace the assembly.
I turn the key on
You need to locate the main fuse. It may be in the main box with the other fuses. On the bikes I am familiar with they put it on the starter solenoid. Your owners manual will tell you where it is. If the main fuse blows you lose everything. The only other thing that causes the condition you mention is a broken connection in the battery. Testing the cells shows a full charge but no juice comes out. You have to load test the battery to find out if the battery is bad. You could jump the bike from another battery(with the other vehicle turned off)if your bike lights up , this would tell you your battery was broken internally.

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the engine from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what problem has been detected. There is also a chance a sensor has gone bad and is giving a false signal. Keep that in mind. Now determine if you want to do the fix or have the dealer do it. Please rate my answer.
I have recently purchased Taylormade exhaust kit
I would be talking to the people where you purchased the exhaust kit, it sounds like it cost you a lot of money, and i would be dissapointed to. Contact the manufacturer, because if the exhaust is supposed to be "taylor made" then the F1 light should not come on, and if it does, then they should be able to tell you why. If it's pre mapped, then you should get no error codes. Simple, ask the to fix it for free, or ask them for a refund, and by another system form a different manufactuer.
Want to know how to take out and replace a 2001
Easiest way is to get a manual. A knock-off manual from the auto parts store will do. Take notes and pictures as you go. It will make the job 10 times easier when putting it back together. It's actually easier than you think.
When you accelarate at about
Greetings,
I believe your problem is fuel starvation, which might be caused by one of two things. I would first replace the fuel filter. Also, check your air filters to be sure they are clean, dry, and not contaminated. If you have the vacuum controlled fuel safety valve, check the hoses and all the connections. If all of the above is OK, drain some of the gas out of the tank at the petcock into a glass container and carefully examine the fuel for contaminants, especially for water and rust or other foreign materials.
I put the bike in
Run switch ... on or off? Kick stand ... up or down? Sure you are in neutral?
I got a new computer
Did you check the primary wires supplying power to the ignition coils? If you have a shorted or broken wire to that one coil, it will not spark.
