I would look for a linkage problem. Some Suzuki bikes have 2 clamps on the linkage, The second can be seen from under the bike only.

There is only one and it is on the right hand side sticking straight out of the engine with a black cable. Real easy to spot!

Try running the 'long life' or 'extended life' bulbs, They can withstand a little more in the rough service department. Also check to make sure your fender, bulb socket and tail light housing aren't loose, cracked etc. causing a higher than normal amount of vibration. A third thing to check is if your socket or the wires leading to it have a short, your tail light might be energizing alonw with the brake light anf causing the bulb to burn out.

Removing a baffle will not harm the engine.

Spark plug gap refers to the amount of separation between the center electrode of the plug and the bent tang at the bottom of the plug. Too small a gap and you get a weak spark. Too wide a gap and the plug may not fire every time. Most bikes today have CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition ). CDI produces a strong spark and works best with a gap of .35 to .45.

Chains must not have too much slack in them. There should be about 1/2" (12mm) of vertical movement on the slack side.

It could be your have a worn out chain.. Look at the drive pinion. The teeth should have a flat top and both faces of the teeth should have the same profile. If the sprocket is very worn, the teeth become pointed and the chain does not sit correctly on the drive chain wheel on the rear wheel, (i.e. there is a gap between the chain and the inside edge of the driven sprocket.

If you change your sprockets, change the chain also (you must do this as the chain will also be very worn).

Take out the battery and give it a voltage test. Clean the terminals of the battery. If that won't do, you could take out the starter-motor and get it tested at your dealer's.

Just about any solvent will work. Just remeber it must be completely try before you install and fire it up. Seriously if any solvent remains you could have a really bad week. You can use acetone, again be really careful. Hope this helps.

hi buddy the picture below will show you the mixture screw unscrew this 1/2 of turns out if still no difference unscrew another 1/2 if getting worse screw in 1/1/2 turns it just play with it budd this is the screw that puts the correct amount of fuel with the air

hi your exhaust is a sealed item,also your bike is a 4 stroke,why would you need to clean the baffles?only reason these would block up is if you are burning oil,if you are then i would think about a top end overhaul

It is the plug with the number 4 written on on the very bottom of the crankcase.

NO YEAR TOLD AT ALL. oops. bad that. 2007 is last I think. buy the service manual and read what 1L+5S error code means my guess is fuel pressure dead. and filters this are packed in gunk and or bad gas there. it will start using test fuel spray , but stalls in 3 seconds. due to FI fuel injections are dead. fuse bad. or any of all things FI uses to inject can be bad, even crank sensor. etc. buy the manual read the FI chapter and that code (errors) causes, fuses blown. bad fuel ,and the results of that clogged fuel filters and injector. bad fuel pump or clogged or pump or relay bad. bad sensors to EFI, CMP or CKP any bad input to ECU will do this (fail) 1998 to 2007, early were CARB fuel and manual easy to find the 2007 has TBI throttle body injection like 1990 cars had all this can fail.\ I see all parts here.
