if you are getting power to your coils and no fire thats where your problem is. look into coils make sure they test right

The only manual way to clean it is to physically strip the engine to access the window. There are some oil additives you can run for a few minutes prior to changing the oil and oil filter that may help clear the window. Lastly, removing and cleaning the oil pan/sump along with regular oil changes will keep the window clean

Sounds electrical... typical coil issue.... get hot... quits... cools off..runs until it get hot again. a well equipped shop can load test the coil..

Changing rings in head need to know the foot pound pressure on 14mm head bolt and on 10mm head bolt?

iIf it is not fuel system, not fuel / air balance might be ignition system or wear and tear in the engine itself. Assuming the brakes are set up correctly and not dragging. Is the ignition timing correct. Is the compression okay? Cylinder head condition. spark leads good? Sounds like a trained mechanic with some diagnostic equipment might help you track the problem down. Good Luck with it

This is fairly normal for the model Suzuki you have. Because of the manual choke, of course you have to do this by hand as you are doing. Newer models have automatic chokes.

fan burned out? check by applying 12 volts- see if it turns... or its the temp sensor not turning on

It seems there is too much of fuel going into the non firing cylinder thus the blackish spark plug, recheck the float level to that carburater and also check the valve clearance.

The engine on your 2000 Marauder 800 is the same 805cc engine as on my 2006 Boulevard S-50. They take two spark plugs, one per cylinder near the exhaust ports. I recommend NGK- 5129 gapped at 0.035 inches.

If the bub and all fuses are good, probably either the neutral light indicator switch (sending unit) is bad, or the wiring connector might have even came unplugged.

Make sure you engine is hot to the touch before you ride away. After its warmed up make sure your chock is off or your motor will stall because it is too rich when warm.

Are you sure the smoke is white? White smoke is usually caused by antifreeze burning.(This could be a head gasket)

If the smoke is actually light gray it is oil burning.(This would be rings or valve seals)

If it smokes mostly on startup and then stops when it warms up (It could be a worn valve guide or deteriorated valve guide seal (or possibly several) allowing a tiny amount of oil into one or more cylinders).

If it smokes mostly when you are cornering (It could be too much oil in the crankcase).

If you mean that fuel runs out of one of the vent lines, note that one of those lines is for overflow from the carb bowl. If this is what is happening, you might have corrosion or dirt making your float needle stick, and overflow fuel to that carb. It needs to be cleaned out by removing the bowl, float and float needle.

You can pull all your power from the rear tail light! You'll need a multimeter(Or at least a test light of some sort!) on your adapter you'll have a green, a yellow, a brown and a white wire. White- is your ground(Find a good clean nut/bolt on your frame)green- Right turn signal/brake lightyellow- left turn/brake lightBrown- tail lightsWhat you'll have to do is find the wires for the tail light on your bike, And one by one probe them(with your multimeter/test light) With whichever accessory on(E.G. turn lights on, then probe the wires until you find the one that has power, This will be your tail light wire. same with both of your turn signals and brake light!

Hello Colin, the fuel leak from the upper hose would indicate excessive gas due to flooding, as you stated. It could be the float has stuck and not letting the float valve close to stop the fuel flow. This happens a lot when a bike is stored... Other possibilities - The float could have a pinhole in it causing a high fuel level, or not adjusted properly. Also, make sure the choke is not stuck partially closed. Remember, a "wet" gas soaked spark plug will not fire, so it's best to replace the plugs after they have been flooded or fouled. I hope this information is helpful.
