What bike do you have, and are the volts/ohms in spec? You can have continuity, but not enough juice for proper spark. cleaned the ground posts with sand paper and the put it back on. then i unplugged the kill switch and then plugged it back in. then replaced the spark plug and it started right up . so try this couple of things and see what happens. You need a mulit-meter to make sure that you are getting proper juice

Hi,,remove the tape and check the connections,,when you say "everthing went dead i assume you mean all lights ect,,,check your fuse box,,,more than likely the indicator wiring has shorted and blown a fuse.

You did not state what model Suzuki you have. Some batteries are on the underneath of the bike; seats are usually bolted on and can be removed by removing the side covers and then removing the bolts holding the seat on. The fuel tank usually has to come off too. This is usually held on by a single bolt under the seat.

do you have stock main and pilot jets in carb?

i will assume the pads are tight against the disc?, release the pressure by undoing the bleed screw, don,t forget rebleed the brake..

Just a big nut on one end. Sounds like its frozen in, as there is a metal "tube" in the center of the wheel between the wheel bearings, and if it's never been greased, I'm sure it's rusted in. Lots of patience and spray rust solvent in, and let it sit, repeat... This may help.

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste.The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.

A broken timing chain is the most likely cause, the piston is hitting an open valve, or you have a dropped valve or a stuck valve. Question edited for a lot more clarity. BTW it isn't a Moped because it doesn't have pedals 'Motorised and Pedal operated - 'mo ped'. It is a Scooter. Here is your service manual. Check all connectors for corrosion, check fuses and grounds on the lights. It may be a voltage rectifier issue. Probably need a good electrician.
