Hi got Kawasaki z750 on a 57 plate L model, F1
FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the engine from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what problem has been detected. There is also a chance a sensor has gone bad and is giving a false signal. Keep that in mind. Now determine if you want to do the fix or have the dealer do it. Please rate my answer.
Oil in the water
Gaskets, blown. Or even worse, engine blown!. You need to open the engine to see what happened.
Accidentally wiring the battery in reverse has killed electrics!
When you do such things, you generally blow what is called a fuse link. I can't find a manual to suit your machine. Follow the positive wire from the battery, you should come across what looks like a couple of little boxes with a piece of wire in the middle. This is the link. It is put into machines to prevent major damage if you happen to make a mistake. If you cannot find this, then it is an auto electrician job.
My Kawasaki Z750 has a red warning light flashing
It actually says "FI" for fuel injection. It is the equivalent of the check engine light in your car. There is a problem with the fuel injection system that will need to be addressed by the dealer.
i hope this helps

04 z750 clocks resetting
There should be a wire that runs from the cluster to your battery that gives the cluster constant power. There is probally a short in that wire. The odo doesnt do it because it has a memory board.
Doesn't start - FI warning light & no spark
I have encountered this problem on 3 different occasions. I have had to pull the fuel pump, carefully disassemble the entire thing, using an air hose to clean it out, only to reassemble and reinstall it...tho frustrating and very time consuming, the settlement thats in gas can clog the fuel filter inside the pump causing a major inconvenience. Also when you dismantle your bike take an extra hour and some carburator cleaner and clean out your throttle bodies and fuel lines...90% of FI problems are fuel pump related
Kawasaki zx750j 1991 with no spark?
only one wire is 12v other is neg , coil fires when the neg is grounded not sure if your bike has pulse generator this sends signal for coil to ground at correct time look on you tube for coil test primary and secondary there are two dual fire coils on that bike
There is a error code 34 35 in my kawasaki
Error Code # 34 - Exhaust butterfly valve actuator sensor malfunction, wiring open or short.
Error Code # 35 - Immobilizer amplifier malfunction (Equipped Models)
These are the exact error codes from the service manual itself. Good luck.
