Why does suzuki TF 125 jump out of neutral into gear
One of several reasons...
1. You are not getting the transmission into neutral correctly
2. The neutral detent spring/plunger is weak/broken
3. The shift drum locator is worn or broken
4. The shift shaft arm that moves the shift drum is worn or broken
5. You have extremely worn shift forks.
Its time to have a professional look at it... this jumping into gear will eventually cause serious damage to your transmission.
Hi, I have a 2004 Vulcan Nomad 1500 L5 FI. I'm
Hi
I would check the connection between the battery and the starter motor although its quite feasable that your starter is worn and is loading up, which makes it slow to turn and require more power from the battery.
Maybe you can remove the starter motor for testing?
Motorcycle won't turn over just get a clicking noise from a relay under the seat.
Check the connections they may be loose. If the connections are loose just tighten them and it should work. If not replace the battery. Most of the time if a battery sulfates it will still show a full charge but will not have the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) to start the bike. Take the battery and have it tested. CycleGear can test the battery I think. If not most autozones can check the battery. I am 99% sure it will need to be replaced. If the relay or solenoid were bad there would be no clicking at all. Bleed wet clutch
undo the bleed nipple slightly on the slave cylinder , remove cover on clutch lever and make sure to keep it topped up as you bleed ! pull lever and hold as you nip up the nipple then release lever ! do this several times , be careful not to get fluid on paint work as it will melt it ! once done top up fluid and fit cover and try !
CLUTCH slips on 2004 vulcan
clutch adjustment or worn clutch plates will cause this , check adjustment ok then if no change replace plates !
My 2004 Vulcan Classic 1500 won't idle.
is the carb jetted? if so check to make sure it has the right size jets. too small of jets starve the engine of fuel, and too large flood it. also there should be 2 jets one main jet which controls the amount of fuel when at 1/4 throttle to fuel throttle and then there should be a second which would be the pilot jet that controls idle mixture (1/4 throttle and less) it's longer and thinner than the main jet with multiple holes for mixing air and fuel for idle. have them to make sure the jetting is correct. Also IF the engine had been bored you will need to use larger jets for the added volume in the cylinder chamber from the boring. aftermarket exhausts will also cause the engine to be rejetted but usually the sellers will have charts telling you what jets to run with the exhaust.
Remove a gas tank
there are 2 bolts at the front of the seat, takeoff the seat, unsrew the bolts. that is the only thing holding it on. push the tank forward a bit, then lift up. there are breather tubes under the tank. be careful, they are difficult to get back on depending on the length.

2005 Vulcan 1600 Classic; having problems with the
When you go to lock it or unlock the steering give the bars a little wiggle while turning the key. Somtime the rod that goes into the hole gets gummed up. As for the front end wobble I would take a look at the wheel to see if it has gotten bent or if you have lost a wheel weight. Also check the wheel bearings buy getting the front wheel off the ground and hold the front end from moving and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and see if there is any side to side rocking movment. If there is stop riding the bike and get them replaced.
