Spark plug, gas, oil?

i have the same bike and love it. i use a ngk iridium plug and it works perfectly. i run mid grade gas 89 or 93 with royal purple 2 stroke oil and i also use royal purple crankcase oil for the bottom end. never had an issue.

i am a mechanic and own my own shop and use royal purple in all my rebuilt engines and race engines.

good luck and love that bike man.

What reatio of gas to oil? And what kind of oil?

32:1 / 40:1 will be fine.... your choice of pre-mix oil...pick your fav brand . use a ratio-right cup and make it simple

  1. Pump one gallon of gasoline into a gas can. Ads by Google'; for(i = 0; i '+ '' + google_ads[i].line1 + ' ' + google_ads[i].line2 + ' ' + google_ads[i].line3 + '
    ' + '' + google_ads[i].visible_url + ''; } s += ""; document.write(s); return; } google_ad_channel = '+7733764704+1640266093+9911500640+3322788282+9016233241+8962074949+8941458308+0371618899+7122150828' + xchannels + gchans; google_ad_client = "pub-9543332082073187"; google_ad_output = 'js'; google_ad_type = 'text'; google_feedback = 'on'; google_ad_region = "test"; google_ad_format = '250x250_as'; //--> google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);

  2. 2Measure out the proper amount of two cycle oil in the Ratio Rite.
  3. 3Pour the required amount of oil into the gas can with the gasoline.
  4. 4Shake the container lightly until all of the oil is thoroughly mixed in with the gasoline.
  5. 5Pour the mixture into the machine`s gas tank.

Kx 85 04,bike had a slight bog when throttle was

Start with setting the air and throttle screws. Turn each one inward until it GENTLY seats. Back each one out one and one half turns. Clean the air filter and starter plunger. The plunger may need to be rebuilt or replaced. Check the pilot and main jet sizes. There will be a number stamped on the side of the jets. The pilot jet should be #45, the main jet should be #140.

My kx125 04 model will not let me go into 3rd 4th

You probably have a bent shift fork or two > very common and expensive. The only other possibility is the shift linkage behind the clutch is messed up in some way > cheap but seldom ever happens.
If it is the forks, then the entire engine comes out of the frame and gets completely torn down. The top end comes off, the case covers come off, the clutch, shift shaft, kick starter, flywheel and electrics all come off. Then the case is split to gain access to the gears and shift drum. The gears and shift drum now get removed and now the forks can be replaced. A few special tools are needed. Sorry for having to give you the bad news.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

Removing gear lever Kawasaki KX 125

Does it have a pinch bolt? If so undo and remove the pinch bolt, if the lever doesn't slide off you will need to pry the pinch part of the lever apart. It should then slide off. If it is worn it will hang loose, you will need a new lever, also check the splines on the shaft.
