G'day.
You don't stipulate your bikes model or year which makes this a bit harder.
When you fitted the outer hub(the one the springs sit in)- you've probably miss-aligned it.
Remove the springs again
Remove the hub- & re-fit over next set of posts(turn the outer hub so it dosn't go over the same posts as before) & it should slot all the way in.
If it dosn't-try again

It looks like the outer hub can fit over the spring posts in any position- but it can't.

I hope this works for you.

Take a volt tester, test the voltage on the starter if you hit the start button. if there is voltage it means the starter is damage, if no voltage check the wiring.

Temperature sensing switch could be the problem, or a broken wire between fan and the switch. OR it could be that the fan motor is dead. If you have a volt meter, try reading voltage at the switch, and the fan motor, (once the engine is warm enough the fan should be on)

G'day. Contact dynateck for the fitting instructions would be what I would try first.I'd check the web.
Because your fitting an aftermarket device its fitting instructions & procedures are dictated by the manufacturer of the said aftermarket part.
Good luck

It would be better to come off the battery through a fuse and relay, the relay can then be activated off the high beam circuit

its running lean(not getting enough fuel) the carb needs to be pulled apart and cleaned.

The bike is a "Meanstreak" If all you have is the engine you would probably be better taking the engine and any other cycle parts you like to a Frame builder.

If the bike is not fuel injected then why does it have a throttle positioning sensor? It may run but not correctly.

Surely, if your question was not answered in enough detail for you to carry out the repair, or be satisfied with it, don't pay it. I don't get paid if my client isn't happy with my answer, even if it came straight from the service manual!

Hi, Fred212434 the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee of $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available and some were never printed in English. The Indian and Philippine markets are usually in E-book format only, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download.

Any oil that is JASO MA certified for motorcycle use. 10w-40 for cool climate 20w-50 for warm climate. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label it will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil will help your engine run cooler and shift easier in hot weather.

Unscrew the sparks, place them in their pipes, touch the spark on a metal surface with negative polarity, ( like the engine block) and hit the starter. If the spark well, then your problem is on fuel.
Remember, that petrol engines always require three things:

AIR, FUEL and SPARK. If any of them is missing, you'll never get it working.
