Try new spark plugs first, install them and see if it starts..if it won't start, try to fllod it.. them remove the spark plugs and make sure the plugs are wet when you remove them, this proves you are getting gas to the cylinders. No spark...then you will need a factory service manual to check the resistance values according to the manual for the pick-up coil, the cdi box, the main ignition coil, the plug wires. Check the on/off switch on the handlebar if it has one. Good luck!

If the bike has been sitting the carburetor will need to cleaned out.Need to check the fuel petcock to make sure its flowing good.Hope this helps you out.

no the engine mounting area is totally different

sounds like faulty spark plug

sounds like a short in the light system

it could be u have a batt charging problem , so check out for more than 13 volts on batt leads with/out lights. U should also disconnected the batt leads and make sure they r clean and tightly fastened . Check out for water level if u dont have dry batt .

the order is 1.3.4.2 the left hand coil goes to the two outer cylinders which are 1&4 and the right hand coil does the middle Cyls. Best regards Jim.

The tube is for overflow. The float is stuck open ( or partly open ) and the overflow prevents all the extra gas from running into the engine. The carb needs to be cleaned.
