Most likely bad fuel pump, but double check connections to the fuel pump and ground Bright and shiny connection surfaces are the best. Starter turn? the click is probably not the fuel pump, It is probably the starter solenoid. Double check all connections including battery. Check battery condition and charge. Sounds like low battery with just enough "juice" to make the solinoid click and not much more. Owner's manual? Troubleshooting section?

Clutch plates may have worn out OR If hydrolic clutch then it may need re-bleeding or if cable- May need replacing or adjusting
Check them few things you will most likely find its the clutch plates need replacing.

Check the ground wire where it attaches from the battery to the frame. This is most often the cause for this. Otherwise, re-clean both battery posts and retighten.Also, check your main breaker (usually under the seat right next to the battery) or fuse. Reset or replace as necessary.

I went to advance auto and purchased a Mr gasket micro pump model # 42s for under 50$ it produces 2.5-3 psi and with a little creativity will fit in the stock location also I used the original power wires the pump runs quiet as can and produces about twice the volume my bike runs better than ever ! no it will cause the indicators to come on when you brake, and the brake light would come on if you are only turning off a slip lane, confusing other drivers.
The ones that do what you are asking have a number of LEDs that only flash the colors required, so you will need an accessory assembly\tail tidy

You can check the solenoid by using a large screwdrive to briefly bridge across the two large cable connections on top of it. If the starter spins when you do this, then there's the problem: the solenoid.
If the starter doesn't spin, that would suggest a problem with either the starter motor, or the cable that provides power to it (loose, broken, or corroded connection).

To my understanding, the light green wire from the neutral switch generally goes to the neutral light in the instrumentation and to the junction box. It must be noted that some versions has an additional connection to a 3 terminal clutch switch.

Is the battery dead or dying?

My thought is your battery is 99% dead. When you disconnect the load you descrive, there is 1% of the battery trying to do what you want.

Remove the battery from the bike and have it tested at a auto parts or motorcycle parts place. If you can do a hydro test on it, you can do that test. A good reading ia 1200. Put a small charger on it if you like. Im guessing it is not worth charging but try just the same. That way, when you plunk your hard earned $ down for a new battery, you will not feel bad.

Check the starter relay, solenoid and fuses

LED signals often need an extra resister in the circuit to give the flasher can enough load to flash
some have this already in the wiring provided, some need an accessory one

The clutch plates are dragging. This causes the clutch shaft to turn even when the bike is in neutral and the clutch is dis-engaged ( handle pulled in ). When the shift fork moves to engage 1st gear, the bike jumps due to the shaft rotation. When was the last oil change? Dirty oil can cause clutch drag. Also, are you using synthetic lubricants? Some of them can swell the cork on the friction plates and that swelling causes dragging.

Cheap answer try your plugs they may be fouling,

does it idle ok ? were the jets removed and cleaned ? is your plug gap correct ? check on those and get back to me.

Change bulb?

You should ride with high beam in bright daylight anyway (for safety) unless it is exceptionally bright.

If the brushes have worn out then all you will get is as you describe. You will get similar results if there is a bad connection on the starter motor as well. Check the power with a bulb connected with flex.
Changing the brushes is easy. Don't pay a fortune for a new starter!
