1998 klr 650 acts like it is out of fuel

When you have to go full throttle does it accelerate like a normal one when given full throttle, or does it just barely keep running? Is there a carburetor or is it fuel injection? Try some fuel system cleaner. But you say it's intermittent, correct? If so then it's a real mystery.

My turn signals do not work and tail light

start with your tail light, luck its a simple wire harness, with a test light start at the tail light and check for power if you have power you bulb is no good if you dont keep following the wire back checking for power along the way. youll run into your problem just take you time. as for you turn signals for the most part the same thing, but start at you handle bar switch. good luck

Starter does not work but runs fine if push

Does the solenoid pull in when start is pressed?
If not check the supply and wiring from the start button to the solenoid.
If it does, check the relay supling the power to the main contact on the solenoid. (Battery feed).
Hope that helps

I changed my exaust now i cant start

If the ignition is producing a good spark at the plugs and the mixture is correct it may require re tuning due to the exhaust pipes giving a different back pressure reading to the engine.
Fit the old pipes and see if that fixes it, if it does, there's your fault. If not something has happened like a wire is off/broken/earthed out.

Hope that helps.

Trying to drain my gas tank. where is the drain?

there is no drain, just the gas valve to the carbs, remove that valve to drain the tank, do not get any gas on the paint or engine, it will damage the paint very quickly, I strongly suggest u remove the tank or syphon the gas out of it

Sidestand must be retracted and sidestand switch functioning or the engine dies as a safety feature to keep you from riding off with the sidestand down. If the sidestand is up and it still dies, disconnect the sidestand switch and put a jumper in there. If the problem goes away, your switch is faulty.
