How do i remove the rear shock from a 1995
HI NOT THE EASYEST TASK ON THIS BIKE, 1ST YOU MUST SUPORT THE BIKE, ON THE LOWER YOU HAVE THE 3 BOLTS WHICH BOLT TOGETHER THE LINKAGE AND THE SHOCK, UNDO THESE BOLTS MARK POSITION OF FORWARD FACING BRACKETS AND MAKE SURE THESE BOLTS ARE FREE AND READY TO PULL OUT ONCE YOU HAVE THE TOP BOLT REMOVED, THATS THE EASY BIT, NOW THE TOP BOLT IS HIDEN INSIDE THE FRAME AND BODYWORK, ON THE R/HAND SIDE REMOVE ALL NESSASARY COVERS AND FIXINGS POSS EVEN BATTERY TO GAIN ACCES TO THE NUT , AGAIN THE LH SIDE IS ALSO QUITE HARD TO GET TO, SO A LITTLE PATIENCE AND AN EXTRA SET OF HANDS WILL COME IN HANDY AS YOU HAVE TO UNDO THE BOLT WHICH CAN BE TIGHT 1 PERSON HOLDING A SOCKET ON 1 SIDE AS THE OTHER UNDOES THE NUT, YOU MAY NOT HAVE TO REMOVE ALL THE BODY WORK JUST TRY AND SQUEZE THE SOCKET PAST THE BODYWORK, CAN BE TRICKY, GOOD LUCK

You can remove the air intake and spray down the inside of the carb with carb cleaner to attempt to clean the jets. You can also try removing the fuel feed line and spray some carb cleaner in there.

1995 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 trys to start but wont
I would check your fuel petcock and make you have it to the on position. If that does not help then you might want to have your carburators cleaned. If you do not want to take them off the bike you can take the fuel bowl drain screw out of the bottom of the carburators and let the fuel drain out. Then take a can of carb cleaner with the long plastic extender nozzle stuck into the hole of the fuel bowl and shoot cleaner into the bottom of the carb via the fuel bowl. This may flush out your carbs without having to remove them.

My 1995 vulcan 800 wont start without a jump, and
i am willing to bet that your battery is dead because your charging system is dead. and that would make the bike do what you saying. NEVER EVER jump your bike with a car running you have run the rest of killing your charging system, because of the amps your car puts out. chack it out let me know

Getting those fuse bricks out can be tricky. I have a 2000 800b ( classic ).
I had to remove the battery, then there is plenty of room to slide those bricks out towards the front of the bike.
Might want to pick up a manual. Lots of good info in there, and worth every penny the first time you try anything. It would also have a diagram and diagnostic for your lights being out.
Oil coming from small port on side of cylinder

Where do i put the water in for a 1996 vulcan 800?
In the header tank. Pretty sure they are a sealed unit, meaning no radiator cap. If you look at your radiator, follow the hose back to a small resovior tank, it should be easily accessible so check the obvious locations(even under the seat).
