How to replace head gasket 2006 Kawasaki zr 6 j ?
Unless you have a few special tools and EXCELLANT mechanical ability, this should be left to a professional. It may look easy, and it is to a professional, but there are more things to consider. You may have to remove the engine from the frame?.. completely cleaning and prepping both the cylinder and head surfaces for re-assembly. then....re-time both cams to the correct crankshaft location ... checking the valves for sealing, new exhaust gaskets, cam cover gaskets, check intake boots for cracking/leaks... then setting ALL the valve clearances to spec... You get the idea... getting it redone is ALWAYS more expensive than having it done right the first time, MAKE SURE the shop warranties (IN WRITING) their work!
(I guarantee my 2-cycle race motors for 1 race! PERIOD!) In 35+ years only had 1 break.. it broke the crankshaft end off in the main bearing ... (factory defect) BUT, I PAID FOR ALL PARTS and repaired it free!! $$$ouch!!!
How to replace head gasket on a 2006 Kawasaki zr 6 j ?
When the old one already was leaking, you first have to let the head flattened by a special service centre, or els you will blow out the new gasket within days.
These kind of jobs are better done by a workshop. It will cost some more, but in the end it is done well and you won't run into trouble too soon.
F1 light flashing on my zx6r 2007
Have you replaced your exhurst system if you have did you put the O2 sensor back in as f1 error code is for this sensor and your CPU can not tell if the engine is running correctly and will shut the engine down when a gear is selected
What would cause my 1990 454 ltd to cut out after speed of 50 mph?
If it was stored for the winter the high speed jets are probably gummed up. This is at least worth a try. Go to an Autoparts store and buy some Sta-bil, that is a brand name fuels gel and varnish remover. I often find this is all that is necessary to get a unit running right after storage. Mix it a little stronger than one ounce to five gallons. good luck hope this helps.

More likely is a head gasket. A temp sensor reads liquid temp, and with air being pumped into the system will give you a false reading.
Are you running a 50/50 mix or anti freeze? Pure antifreeze will actually allow an engine to over heat, however you usually see it on the gauge.
My motorcycle wont stay idle
What year, and was it first sold in CA? Many Asian bikes w/ carbs had restrictors on the fuel adjustments. Locks down so lean for emissions that they wouldn't even idle. Look for rejetting kits on the internet if so. Easy to tap out restrictor and rejet. Did that on a 2010 Suzuki and it ran great.
Cranks but will not continue running, shuts off
Drain the gas from the tank and carbs.(there are drain plugs on the bottom of the float bowls on the carbs) (to drain tank you will just need to unplug the hose that runs from the tank to the carbs and open the filler cap after opening the petcock) Put everything back together and fill with fresh gas and try to run it. If this doesn't work then you will need rebuild the carbs by just replacing the main jets in your carbs because they may be shot. If you still have problems after that then check the float bowl height on each. You will need a repair manual for that bike to get those measurements. Good Luck!
Cooling fan not coming on
First check if the fan does work directly i.e. remove the wires that goes to the fan and run another wire from the battery to the fan and see if it works, if it works than there is a problem to the fan actuator switch fitted around the cooling system. You may have to replace this switch.
Choke
Sounds like the idle is out of adjustment. There should be a knob with a phillips type screw on a cable that can be reached on the left side of the bike. Turn it counter clockwise to lower the idle.
Water in engine oil
Water in engine oil is a problem mechanic should look at before damage is done.
My rev will not go down when i rev it
POSSIBLY (if present - happened to me on a different bike) a mechanical link between choke and throttle got stiff so 'choke' (the 'a bit more throttle' component) kept the revs up.
