1992 kawasaki ZZR 1100 Questions & Answers
Clean 1992 kawasaki zx11 carb
Sounds like the bike is struggling with being too lean.
The choke richens the mixture by increasing the fuel to air ratio
Often these old carbs get worn out and allow air in without going via the air box.
However I would look over the bike and ensure all cables and things are working properly. Ensure all gaskets, gromets and surfaces are seated properly.
Lastly cleaning the carb jets will ensure there are no blockages restricting fuel flow
How to bleed my hydraulic clutch on my 1992
similar to bleeding brakes, pump up the lever, then let the fluid out down at the slave cylnder at the bleed nipple.
May need to turn the bars or lean the bike so ther is no high point at the first banjo bolt on the clutch cylnder.
Its common for the slave cylnder seal to wear out, and this causes fluid loss and air back into the system

Nearside carb problem on kawasaki zzr1100
Clean your carbs! Your floats might be sticking open a bit. Plus, all Kawasakis have a simple spring-actuated check valve in the fuel valve. This way, you can disconnect the fuel line without having to block the flow. Fuel could be leaking through the check valve. Your problem most liklely identifies dirty gasoline. Clean out your tank, your carbs, and change your fuel filter.
