hi m8,, remove the 2 bolts and put 1 or to washers on the bolt and put back on the tank,,if still no joy, then take off the housing and just smear a bit of silicone to the bottom of the housing ,then replace back on tank, bolts back in and tighten,,give it half an hour or so 4 silicone to set,,,,,cheers

Use only non silica formula anti freeze like OEM Honda or GM Dexcool , the scrubbing particles in automotive antifreeze can damage the ceramic seal in you motorcycle water pump. To change the antifreeze, find the low point of the system. Some cycles have a drain on the bottom of the radiator. Most have a small drain bolt located on the water pump housing cover. Place a pan under the drain bolt, loosen the radiator cap (this will allow the anti freeze to flow faster), and remove the drain bolt. Replace the drain bolt. To top up or fill the system, first, fill the radiator to the top. Replace the radiator cap, then locate the over flow tank and fill it to the full mark. After short drive and a cool down period , recheck the level in the over flow bottle and top up the radiator and over flow bottle as needed.

Replace the switch if possible. If not, check for continuity when the stand is up and down. It should change. The system is looking for the "up" condition. If the switch has continuity with the stand up, short the switch wires together. If there is no continuity with the stand up, disconnect the switch. The lack of a sidestand switch can be dangerous.
