Where is your mixture screw set to?

best to replace whole throttle on handle bar with cable

Do not move the throttle. Open the choke, give her a kick. Has it ever started before?

take it back to the shop that rebuilt it...tell them/show them.... they should fix it...

Check your coil!

float level set to high or bad needle valve also could have a speck of dirt keeping it from sealing

check thd kill switch ! remove plug cap off the ht and see if you can feel a voltage as you kick over the engine ! it wont kill you but easy way to know if coil is working ! plug caps resister break down !

I'd use Motul 10w 40. Bit expencive but good.

Attach bleeder tube to nipple place open end in bottle Open reservoir fill with proper fluid
With nipple closed squeeze brake handle then open nipple
Close nipple before releasing brake
Repeat until no air comes out and breaks feel good
Without a power bleeder this will take some time

Only way to properly remove rust is using a emery paper, a wire brush and/or sand blasting. When cleaned prime and paint. For scratches on paintwork you could try cut & polish compound found in auto stores.

I would use Valvoline 20w50 VR1 racing oil.

13psi is most commonly run in the back and front

the engine has two seperate sides which require oil... your owners manual should break it down step by step, if you dont have one id advise strongly to get one, but if not the right side has a 8mm bolt, remove it with the bike in a perfectly vertical position... if oil comes out its full... along with the dipstick on the left side, its pretty self explanitory on how much, just dont put too much in or you could blow seals and you will lose a slight amount of power... both sides use the same oil so you dont have to worry about clutch oil and all that ****... just use motorcycle 10w 30 or whatever... strogly advise hondas line of oil specially tuned for honda engines. keep up on it and that engine will last longer than you expect. have fun and be safe.

You'lll need to put .7 liters of oil on your bike. When you changed the filter, you'll need to add .8 liters of oil.

It could be a loose shift index wheel or a weak index wheel spring. The index cam could be loose also. Another item to check is the shifter shaft and return spring. There could be a slightly bent shift fork causing the problem, but since you didn't mention having to force the shift pedal I doubt that is the cause. By the way, if a shift fork is bent, an engine tear down will be needed.

The oil capacity is marked on engine side as well as gearbox side. On gearbox side there is a 8mm screw just before the clutch cover. Take this bolt out and fill until the oil start coming out this hole, should be about 600ml. Do not use full synthetic oil in gearbox, this does not work well with the clutch friction plates. On the engine side put about 500ml (depending if you changed the oil filter as well), then check level with diptstick by placing diptstick in hole WITHOUT SCREWING IT IN. Fill with little bits at a time until you reach the max mark on the diptstick. Start engine and warm up. Shut down and leave for 3 minutes. Check oil again. DO NOT overfill engine side.

check you water pump, could be clogged

Do you have the timing marks at Top Dead Center?

Well i currently ride a new 250 06 crf but the last time i had a knock was on my 2000 cr 250 and that was piston slap cuz the rings where shot..

Check your clutch pack first ( fingers crossed ) .
Have a good listen to the engine to isolate the area of the noise ( putting your ear on the handle of a long screwdriver and putting the blade of the screwdriver on your motor is a good trick).
The noise is most likely to be a broken needle roller bearing .
