My gz 125 marauder starts sometimes the spark is poor what do you think it is
Start with cleaning and checking the spark gap (reajust to right cap setting) replacing the spark plugs, if that doesn't work then move onto replacing the caps... Thats the cheapest and easiest things to do.
If that doesn't work then look at the coil for loose wiring. If that doesn't come up wth anything then replace the HT leads (unless the HT leads and coil are one unit) and finally it could be a faulty coil and so its a simple, but pricey, thing to replace it...
What is the hight of the float in the carb
if the exact height is not known , a good rule of thumb , is to tilt the carb on its side (with float bowl off) and watch the float to see when its just begins to push on the float valve .... at that point the floats should be level with the sealing face that the bowl bolts up too ....if not , bend the little metal tang till it sits level ..... hope this helps

Brakes squeal and won't release
Causes: Broken spring in the master cylinder.Dirt and grime in the caliper needs to be cleaned out.Dust seal in the caliper full of grime, torn or not there. Caliper not lubed. Unbolt the caliper and remove it. Don't remove the hydraulic line yet. Check your pads for dust and grime clean them as much as possible. A good product is brake cleaner in the spray tin. Don't get it on your paint or tyres. Make sure everything is clean again, you might have slider pins check them and the rubber boot. Just prise the boot up and take a look. If it looks dry under there add a bit of silicone lube. Don't let the lube get on the pads
Need to recharge the rear shock on an 1985 XR200.
Sorry to tell you this but what your going to find is that you can not perform this yourself without the correct tools. Although the manual says you can, you can't unless you have the correct tools to charge the shock. I have just discovered this myself.
