Hello,
You have to fix your charging device ( alternator).
Replace the battery each time it get weak will fool you.
Usually the weak parts in alternator are : carbon brush and rectifier. So you need special attention on these parts.
I'll to side with you if you able to fix it yourself.
But if you're is not so confident, kindly has it fixed in shop.
Led indicators honda xlr 125 "NOT FLASHIN AT RIGHT SPEED "
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
The reason that the flashing speed of LED indicators are faster/different from the standard bulbs is because the original flasher were designed for the current flow of bulb types. A LED type indicator offers very low resistance and consumer very little current hence the original flasher fails to operated correctly.
Your idea of changing the flasher relay is correct. Electronic/LED flashers are available
here,
here and/or
here.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
Wont start,electric start works,no spark
This could be the stator has failed, the cdi has failed or the coil has failed, check all the connections first, then test for power at each of the above items, and rule them out one at a time
I have a xlr 125
Ok. Start from scratch just to make sure your not missing something simple. Verify you have compression on your cylinders. If you dont have a compression tester you can always use your thumb and spin the bike over.If you have good compression, then the next issue is spark. Pull off a spark plug wire with a pair of insulated pliers, hold it next to the plug and try to start the bike.If you have no spark then that is your starting problem. If you have good spark, then your last issue is going to be fuel. But I am betting you have a spark issue. Good luck.
I was driving my Honda
Hi
I am not totally familiar with this bike, but I do have several bikes of my own. If you have a fully charged battey, but no power at the starter motor this sound like a fuse has "blown". Try and switch your lights on or sound your horn, if these still work then it is likely to be an in-line fuse, if these don't work then it is likely that the main fuse has "blown", this is usually located near to the battery. You will need to check your wiring harness and you will find any in-line fuses. If there are no in-line fuses then there will be a fuse box somewhere on your bike.
If you do find a faulty fuse, you need to try and find out why. They only "blow" when they are overloaded. This is by design so that they protect major parts from being damaged. It may be as simple as you have a broken wire going to earth.
Its Hard to start in
No good news here , Honda's have been cold blooded since the beginning of time. Turn the fuel on, FULL choke, If your carburetors have a fuel pump 2 or 3 twists of the throttle when not cranking, now hit the starter button. Honda's will often start easier if you leave the fuel ON when not riding. Always turn your fuel OFF when not riding so you do not risk flooding the engine with gasoline from a stuck float needle (it can happen even with new motorcycles).
Necht 125 gy.cant start.(no product selection so put in honda)
Hi Novice.
Sounds like you have a project. The engine will turn over? And you do have compression?
I agree with your accessment on the carb - probably needs work and maybe even a professional rebuild.
The electric sounds like it needs lots of cleaning up.
Do you have spark at the plugs? Are you able to check time? Points clean? Check all this stuff. You can find the answers to most of your questions at the Honda Riders Club page and elsewhere (like what is the gap for the points - what plug and gap - where are the time marks) It is too much to put here.
The starter switch operates a starter relay. It may not function at all. Find it and check your voltages. should be 12 volts on three of the 4 lugs, 2 lite wires and two heavy wires.
It is possible that all that works but the starter doesn't. You can jump the starter from the battery with a heavy cable to see it it actually operates. MAKE SURE THE BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL BEFORE YOU TO THIS.
I think this will gte you started.
Good luck with your project.

Honda 500 TRX fa6 has PS on the dash….what does it mean ?
The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
