Clutch lever operation stiff and very noisy the type of noise you would relate to something seizing up. Since this started the neutral warning light has stopped coming on.

Cable? (oil it) Clutch Spring issue, clutch plates maybe sticking together (happens when sits for a while). Maybe pull the case, soak the plates in oil over-night/two. If it is Hydraulic, then try bleeding the fluid (replace if old). Good luck with it. For more Bike Stuff, go to YouTube/CrashTestDummyTV. Cheers n Happy Trails (when it goes...). >:)

Does the blackbird cbr1100 1999 model have a kill

All motorcycles have a " Kill/engine stop switch ". They have to by law. Usually it's right next to the starter button on the right side handlebar switches. Usually it's the button to the left of the start. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/robert_5bac37c3cb991fdb

There is a rattling noise coming from my engine

YES! nice bike by the way i wish i had one "blackbird" this happened to mine and another friends Hurricane we both had the noise and one day he sent me a text video saying listen to my bike and it sounded like **** ..what had heppened is that the chain jumped a tooth and the timing was way off it was amazing to listen too and it sounded like it was going to explode he found out that his cam chain tensioner was broken..so i decided to check mine and boy was i glad i did, when i took it out it was leaking oil past the seal, was wobbly side to side play, and was worn on one side more than the other..so i went to a salvage yard and picked up one that looked in decent shape and installed it and have put another 10k on it, the chain noise is still there but not quite as bad now..im sure that the chain is stretched especially the way i ride it...i race it at the track and put extreme loads on it. so you'd better have a look at the tensoiner and dont replace it yourself unless you know exactly what your doing..because the dealer will probably try and sell you an after market style, and these are a highly critical in the set up or adjustment if you want to call it that, and if you do it wrong..it will damge the engine..just try and get an original stock one.

Put in new battery still no power.

Hi and welcome to the site,

Initially, have you checked the 30A main fuse? It would be inside the starter relay. To locate the starter relay, follow the cable from the battery's + terminal.

Good luck and thank you for asking.

Cam chain noise on a CBR1100 from 1998

Cam chain normally must be replaced, but sometimes cam chain tensioner may have some space to put more tension to tighten the cam chain. If you know how to access it then go for it. Good advise?

Seems like fuse blown

Does the bike run right now........all lights work, horn blow?? If it runs good and all electronics work, then don't worry about it, it may have been a relay kicking on when you introduced the battery to the system.
hope this helps
