Try to google some specs online, but a good starting point to get started is to close it all the way down, then open it one and a half turns. This will get you close enough to start and idle long enough for you to adjust by ear.

Swingarm Bushings

to get the swingarm bushings changed out, you just have to remove the rear wheel, unbolt the lower shock mounts and chain guard, then pull out the swingarm bolt

Have your carburator adjusted/calibrated/cleaned by a qualified service personnel.

You need to put it into neutral in order to start it or pull the clutch and hold it down until started. I would suggest putting it into neutral. Double check that you have it in neutral by trying to push the bike without holding down the clutch when you think you have it in neutral. If the bike rolls easily, then you know its in neutral. If it won't push or seems hard to get it to roll forward then you know its still in gear. Once you have it in neutral (for sure), hold the clutch down and start the bike.

Othen than that, all you have to do is make sure its turned on and it should start. Some bikes use a key to turn it on, others have a throttle control switch. We had Suzuki Quad racers which were 2 stroke - and are a little different.

Do not get the ones with "Special" additives. NEVER use synthetics. Some of the additives and most of the synthetics will swell the cork on the clutch friction plates. Then the clutch will not disengage and now it is time for new friction plates. Use 10w40 motor oil and you are doing good.

If not using an automatic oil pump, then mix the gas and oil 32 to 1. That equals 4 ounces of TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL to one gallon of gas. NEVER use motor oil in the gas. Only two stroke engine oil. hi mate on the clutch lever there will be a adjuster adjust the clutch cable or replace if stretched to much and check engine oil if low top up with 4 stroke oil

my advise would be the top quality oil... most epensive in other words because it does better for you engine and lasts longer... great stuff oil.. i swim in it some times

Check the cdi, stator and coil, as well as all wire connections and fuses

This could be the stator has failed, the cdi has failed or the coil has failed, check all the connections first, then test for power at each of the above items, and rule them out one at a time

Certainly its your oil rings that are worn and needs to be replaced...its an engine rebuild, the rings are located on the pistons inside the engine block.

Ok. Start from scratch just to make sure your not missing something simple. Verify you have compression on your cylinders. If you dont have a compression tester you can always use your thumb and spin the bike over.If you have good compression, then the next issue is spark. Pull off a spark plug wire with a pair of insulated pliers, hold it next to the plug and try to start the bike.If you have no spark then that is your starting problem.If you have good spark, then your last issue is going to be fuel. But I am betting you have a spark issue. Good luck.
