probably a fuse but you will need to check the wiring for faults as in bare wires or around the steering head because of the left and right motion that can put stress on connections ,pinch wires ,or stretch them

If your not sure, get it done, but clutches are an easy job. but the big lock nut s a pain you will need a clutch tool or a compressor and a 24 mm or so nut and wizz gun. where are you.

Replace the coil.

yes. just avoid oils that do not have JASO MA or JASO MA2 ratings. Use motorcycle specific oils with wet clutches.

Instructions

1. • 1 Pull the left and right covers out of the rubber grommets on both sides of the motorcycle's frame. Pull the rubber strap off the tool kit holder on the left side of the motorcycle and remove the tool kit.
   • 2 Locate the fuse box on the right side of the motorcycle, just above the battery. Remove the pair of bolts that secure the fuse box to the battery box with a 10 mm socket. Pull the fuse box away from the battery box.
   • 3 Reach into the left side of the frame to access the battery's negative terminal. Unscrew the negative wire lead bolt from the battery's negative terminal with a 10 mm wrench. Pull the negative wiring lead away from the battery.
   • 4 Reach into the right side of the frame and remove the positive wiring lead bolt from the battery's positive terminal with a 10 mm wrench. Pull the positive wiring lead away from the battery.
   • 5 Pull the battery out of the battery box from the right side of the motorcycle. Slide a new YTX9-BS battery into the battery box, positioning the battery's positive terminal to the right of the motorcycle. Reconnect the wiring leads to the battery's terminals, connecting the negative lead first followed by the positive lead. Tighten the lead bolts with a 10 mm wrench.
   • 6 Reattach the fuse box to the battery and tighten both bolts with a 10 mm socket. Place the right side cover over the frame. Push the cover's tabs into the frame's rubber grommets.
   • 7 Place the tool kit into the tool kit holder on the left side of the motorcycle. Pull the rubber strap over the tool kit and hook the end of the strap onto the holder's catch tab. Place the left side side cover over the frame. Push the cover's tabs into the frame's rubber grommets.

You have a ground connection problem ? Use a wire round brush in the plug hole to clean it .

Try keeping the choke on till it’s warmed up

Try new spark plug caps. The resisters often burn out and cause poor running off idle. On some models the caps are part of the wire and are replaced as an assembly out of the coil. To save money use genuine NGK spark plug caps (about $5 each). They simply screw on to the end of the wire. If the cap reads higher or lower than 5000 OHM's it should be replaced. The copper core spark plug wire can be purchased in bulk for $1 to $2 a foot. It can be cut to length and used as an inexpensive replacement for the stock Honda wire/cap assemblies that sell for $25 to $45 each.

yes for sure the fuel brakes down and leaves a residue in them blocks the jets as well,cheers hope this helps

Any oil with the JASO MA motorcycle certification. 10w-40 for cold climate, 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label. It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil will help your bike run cooler and shift easier. You will need 4 quarts of oil , an oil filter, and a new aluminum sealing washer for the drain plug.

you have 2 bolts on both sides of seat you must remove. Then firmly from front to back slide back and forth it will come loose
and then slide out .

they are not stock, just call your local Honda shop ask for the parts desk, tell them what you want. They will help you get the right carb parts. without vacuume gauges you might just pay for the work to be done,

fill it up tilll the oil hits the dip stick mand then record that and there u go

I am sure you have checked gable is not kinked, check air cleaner replace if dirty check throttle on carby and crc spray around it .check the outer case on throttle cable isn't slipping through clamp. Hope something helps.
