If all this checking things doesnt do it then get a start solenoid

Hi, the fact they do *** on is good, but as this is intermitant fault its a bit of a pain, first off i would check all the bulbs are all the same wattage, and that is the same as the wattage on the flasher relay, this is normaly written or embossed on the relay, and may say 2x 21 watt, if this is the case the bulbs must be 21watt, if it says 2x 5or 10 or 15 then the watage must corespond buld and relay, a higher wattage would cause the light not to flash, and a lower wattage would cause the light to flash to quickly

You will need to get 4 quarts of JASO MA rated motorcycle oil, a filter, and a drain bolt washer. Get 10w-40 for cold climate or 20w-50 for warm climate/long distance riding.Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label , it will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil will make your bike run cooler and shift easier.Drain the old oil and put the drain bolt back in with a new washer. Change the filter and pour in 3 1/2 quarts of oil. Start the bike and run for a minute. Check the oil level and top up as needed.

I have a 1996 ace shadow 1100, after 20-30 minuets
It could be darn near anything, but I'd check these things first: engine oil level - probably not the problem, but check anyways. Check all engine mounting hardware. Tighten all nuts and bolts - and anything else that might be lose.
If this fails to reveal the cause of the squeak, try to pinpoint the exact location of the source. To help with this, use a large screwdriver as a stethoscope by placing the end with the plastic grip to your ear - while touching the metal end to various areas of the running engine. You will be amazed at the stuff you can hear using this trick.
