Cbr 400 rr wont start no spark on plugs
go to the spark plug wires, test for ohms resistance (your local dealer should have the specification for ohms resistance on spark plug wire). Next: Check coil, again test ohms resistance (dealer has specs).
If you do not own a multi-function meter, you may be able to get one for like $2-5.00 at harbor freight if one is near by. Alternatively Sears or Kmart for $20 bucks.

Burnt out wire from swich
Hi,,you have a shortage somewhere,,a wire is touching metal,or another wire,,you need to check the wiring,,and replace that switch.
dont keep riding like this,,could burn cdi, coils ect and at worst a fire.
How do i set up
You have two coils each with two plug leads. (usually have numbers on them) One coil runs cylinders 1 & 4. The other coil runs 2 & 3. Cylinders are numbered 1 to 4, left to right (sitting on the bike) You will have two wires running to each coil. one of these is common and will be the same colour for each coil. The other wire will be a different colour for each coil. Match the colour wire with the pickup inside the ignition cover. These pickups are usually marked 1-4 or 2-3

Paint protection
It sounds as if you are willing to do the right thing and get it coated or painted, right? What you need is not necessarily a clearcoat, but a better paint. Unless you use urethane paint, like they use on today's bikes, gas will dull or melt your tank paint. I'm not saying you can soak the think in gas, but you can spill fuel all over it, and just wipe it off without damage. Needs to be the top quality, urethane based auto paint. Costs more than the old DuPont Imron, but it's well worth it, looks great, and is gas-proof with or without the accompanying clear layer. I have restored many old bikes, and finally found out the hard way, not to scrimp on the tank paint! Good Luck. TT
Honda 500 TRX fa6 has PS on the dash….what does it mean ?
The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
