If you turn signal flashing,then your security system is on. You will need the key fob for starting.,or change the Bat on Key Fob.

You can get a replacement clutch for about $146 that is a complete replacement of your clutch plates. It has the extra plates to replace that poor designed spring plate that comes standard on your Sporty -or- you can buy, for about $190 that same clutch plate kit AND includes the clutch spring tool with it. Here is a link, if you are interested in seeing. Still should have the manual to take the case and clutch apart and put back together though. The kit works great! I have replaced several of them for my friends and never had a problem. Here is the link to where you can get them, but feel free to do some shopping around if you like. The link is just where I have found them at a reasonable price and the spring tool is one of the easiest to access the spring retaining ring too. Hopefully you are not saying you have 27000 miles on the same oil. If so lots of engine parts are likely worn out. nORMAL FOR SOME AIR BUBBLES TO APPEAR ON THE DIPSTICK WHEN HOT. This engine should not have vibration or top end noise.

How do you know it is running rich first off??? What DTCs are set next???

For a 2007, that's not an error code. Seems as if your disabler is activating. The key fob for the security system needs a clear signal to the module to disarm the bike. That's why the flashers turn on. If the fob is at the bike, the security module has lost it's memory, the battery needs replacing, or the antenna for the key fob reception is not connected. You also need to squeeze the clutch lever to allow the engine to engage also...new safety feature i think for 07. To actually get to the diagnosis mode (to read error codes): 1- Turn motorcycle ignition switch to OFF & Run/Stop switch to RUN. Push odometer reset button in & hold. Turn ignition switch to Ignition and release odometer reset button. Background lighting will illuminate, speedometer needle should sweep its full range and indicator lamps (battery, security, low fuel, check engine and cruise) should illuminate. The word "diag" should then appear. Push the odometer reset button once and you will see the selection menu "PSSPt" with the first P flashing. Turn motorcycle ignition switch to OFF & Run/Stop switch to RUN. 2- Push odometer reset button in & hold. 3- Turn ignition switch to Ignition and release odometer reset button. Background lighting will illuminate, speedometer needle should sweep its full range and indicator lamps (battery, security, low fuel, check engine and cruise) should illuminate. The word "diag" should then appear. 4 - Push the odometer reset button once and you will see the selection menu "PSSPt" with the first P flashing. 5 - Each letter represents an area of the diagnostics module. The module that is flashing is the one you are going to check. To move from one letter (module) to the next, you push the odometer reset button one time. (from P to S to SP to t and back to P, etc.) P = ECM/ICM (Electronic Control Module [EFI] / Ignition Control Module [Carburetor]) S = TSM/TSSM (Turn Signal/ Turn Signal Security Module) SP = speedometer T = tachometer 6 - To get the DTC in an area of diagnostics, push and hold the odometer reset button in for 5 seconds and release. If there are any DTC's the code will be displayed or the word "none" will appear if there are no DTC's. Push the odometer reset button again to view additional codes if they exist. 7 - Record the codes. 8 - If DTC's are not to be cleared, Press and release the odometer reset button. Part number of module will be displayed. NOTE: To determine if a code is current or historic, clear the displayed code by pushing in and holding the odometer reset button ( longer than 5 seconds) until 'clear' comes up. Release the odometer reset button. Turn OFF the ignition switch. Run your bike and shut it down then recheck the DTC's again by repeating steps 1 to 9. If the code is current it will reappear. 9 - Press and release the odometer reset button to continue to the next module. 10 - Turn Ignition switch to OFF. On models not equipped with a tachometer "No Rsp" will appear when the tachometer identifier is selected. "No Rsp" will also appear if the run/off switch is in the off position when doing this procedure. The actual error codes will appear (format) as "P0374", for example.

You need HD digital tech2 to marry it to the ecm so you will HAVE to take it to an HD Dealer.

2007 XL = Axle (front) pinch screw 21-27 ft-lbs 28.5-36.6 Nm Axle nut, front 50-55 ft-lbs 68-75 Nm

Try PIN 31313 and if not you may be able to find out who the originating dealer was and they may have a record of a pin. Otherwise you will liikely need a new ECM and have it all set up again by an HD dealer. A dealer may be able to help with the FOB also. First make sure the battery is correct and is installed properly AND check the battery as quite often I have found new ones from the parts department were weak. GET a second FOB also and get a PIN number you will remember and write it down.

Not entirely sure what you are asking but a good guess is that what you are calling the platelight is what HD call the position light and so :

O/W (power supply) and B (ground) to the position lamp on all 2007 XL models

Capacities are in the service manual. Don't mess with the forks without the service manual.

Well ,if your bike start then the security system recognise the code key fob, then it's connected.

No key fob no start,flash signal on then security system on .... no starting...get a key fob for this bike or change the batt fob.
